I work for a retired Air Force Captain. He and his wife often take in “strays.” A young woman with an infant stayed with them for a few months. She had enough on her card at the end of the month that she could purchase a butt load of steaks to take to friends houses for parties. That’s after buying formula, diapers and the rest.
He may be conservative, but if he is telling you a tale like that, he certainly isn’t straight.
