Back in 2009 the White House held a news conference announcing their new plans for taking action against the Mexican drug cartels. President Obama's spokesman lays out the plan ordered by President Obama and Attorney General Holder.
Two questions arise rather quickly:
1) How can they now claim not to have had any idea about this badly bungled operation until it was made public following the Brian Terry murder?
2) Why are Darrell Issa and the rest of the GOP Congress allowing this slow-waltz of pathalogical liars to parade before these hearings when they have access to the same vidoe you are about to watch?

A lot of them are out there concerning Gunrunner, like finding the Ogden video and the $10M funding are proof Obama ordered guns walked. No--those are only proof that a known project was authorized by the government--not in secret, but with press releases and everything.

And Gunrunner is NOT synonymous with Fast and Furious--that was a component strategy presented as a sting op. that turned out to be something else.
Mike and I are concerned with gunWALKING--where the stated mission was deviated from with the criminal conspiracy we now see unfolding.
Suddenly I am being hit with a wave of tips about the old known stuff like it's being discovered for the first time--for many, I'm sure it is. I don't know if the genesis of that originates from people not knowing the history of this and jumping in to be helpful and spread the word, or if there is intent to sow confusion and misdirection.
Either way, it does not help, and can actually hurt. A lot.
Take another look at that video. Something is goofy at about 58 or 59 seconds. Like there has been some editing or whatever.

The only thing that went wrong (bungled) was that they got caught! These guns were never tracked - that was the point of the operation: to increase the number of guns crossing the border to attack our Second Amendment Rights! PERIOD!
Maybe Obama worked a deal with the cartels to provide them guns???
The only thing I dont Understand on this Video is That These people are talking about this Gun Running stuff but they Claim Mexico was Involved with tracking these Guns,According to Mexican Officials Now they Claim they were not Notified of Guns being Brought into their Country under Fast and Furious. According to this Video something was surely Going on and Both the White House and Justice and everyone else sure Knew something was happening so what the hell did Mexico at this Time THINK was going to Happen?
I would like to hear from Mexico People who were in Charge at this time speak as to what this whole operation being discussed here was SUPPOSED to entail. Were they supposed to be tracking these Guns,which they Obviously Did Not? Someone is sure Lying and I dont trust the scumbag in the White House or the Mexicans
When the government agencies would not authorize the surveillance, some agents tried to watch the purchasers on their own.

Actually Wide Receiver was terminated in 2007 by the people who were running it. Holder definitely didn’t end that program. F&F was begun in Oct. 2009.

I don't know about that but 0bungles, Holder and Hillary were making frequent statements about a "river of guns" flowing to Mexico from the U.S.

Word games. Here's the little trick Napolitano, Holder and ATF are playing. F&F was an ATF operation run out of the Tucson AZ office. But some guns were walked out of Texas gun shops which puts them in the jurisdiction of Texas ATF offices so those ops must have had other names. So far I have not seen any reporting on what those op names were.
So you are right that Project Gunrunner was a legitimate program begun in 2005 under Bush but it is still the name of the program used when 0bama came into office and is the umbrella program for all of the criminally insane local ATF operations run since his ascension to the throne.
All of them—"Wide Receiver", "Fast & Furious", "Gunwalker", etc.—are one and the same since Obama took office. For this venal Quisling to state for the record that, on the one hand, he had (as announced in the 2009 video used as the basis for this post) a legitimate "Gun Walking" program in place, and then there was this new "Fast & Furious" program which was started by the ATF's Arizona Field Office without his or Holder's knowledge is absurd! Doesn't begin to pass the smell-test.
It is also typical of the "Watch the Left Hand" obfuscation which has become a hallmark of this felonious bandersnatch of a Manchurian non-President bastard weasel jerk. Pig-dog.
