Weak mainstream media coverage of Fast and Furious

Why are the American people only now becoming aware of something that has been going on for almost two years. Why has it taken two years for the main stream media to really question, to drill for the answers to an event that took the lives of hundreds of Mexican nationals and American border patrol agent Brian Terry.

NBC, ABC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post have committed what Catholics would call the sin of omission- they failed in their coverage of this intense drama.

when Treyvon Martin was shot the media jumped all over the incident. Americans were given no rest over the various news outlets covering the issue, covering Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson on scene, how it was racially motivated, how Obama weighed in on it and on into a frenzy of media coverage over the boy’s death.

But when it came to Brian Terry the coverage seems scarce.

Why are so many Americans clueless about the details of the Brian Terry murder?

A few of those inconvenient details that Americans are clueless about is the fact that around 300 Mexican civilians were killed with the guns the ATF “top-guns” unleashed upon the Mexican public.

Why does Martin matter and Terry does not? New York Times’ motto says it all: “All the news that fit to print.” What is means now is that if genuine news does not fit into their politically correct viewpoint of the world, it is not fit to print.

Today such glaring hypocrisy in most major media corporations is not only dishonest and disingenuous, it is downright disgusting and an insult to genuine journalism. More than that, it is an insult to the American people.

Because Martin helps the Dear Leader and Terry hurts him. The needs of the Dear Leader are what guides the New York Times and most other media outlets.

Of course this truth is not to be spoken out loud.

Have come to the conclusion the bleeding in F&F does not lead due to the media bias, agenda and the media template. Now if this had the fingerprints of a republican it would be a news story of 24/7 and Pulitzer written all over it. Sometimes one does come forward, do not know if it will happen this time, yet one prays our nation has not gone so far down the path taken ... truth and justice are simply mere words now disdained by our media. Soon we will know.

This liberal gatekeeping/denying of the truth has been going on since there have been newspapers. Like I’ve said many times, the biggest sin of Big Lib Media is not that it lies, but that it rarely gives you the full story. F and F is just the latest lib manifestation of their hypocrisy.

Everyone must read this book! It doesn’t matter if you are a Democrat or Republican, whether you believe in more or less gun control, or are conservative or liberal. Government scandals such as this must not be allowed, especially when they cost people their lives. Reading this book will cause you to experience a wide range of emotions. You feel sadness and frustration at the situation surrounding the death of Agent Brian Terry. This is followed by disbelief and outrage as the facts are presented regarding Operation Fast and Furious. Most shocking was seeing proof as to what the administration, at the highest levels, is doing for political purposes. It is frightening to realize, as the book points out, the incompetence, deceit and unlawful behavior with which the current DOJ and other government agencies operate and the great lengths they will go to cover it up. I was appalled to learn of their lack of concern for human lives. I had to ask myself while reading the book, “Could this really have happened?” But the facts and sources are thoroughly documented throughout the book to prove its validity. The introduction by an ATF Special Agent sets the tone for the book in a realistic manner. After finishing the “body” of the book, don’t put it down until you have looked at the appendices. There is a helpful timeline of events and further proof of the administration’s efforts to conceal the truth.

You are correct. Yet, there are still many who think the MSM is driven by profits instead of by the "progressive" agenda.

mostly and sincerely and exponentially am normally incorrect, and worry too much since 911. Opinions are like .. unspoken parts. While we all have one (an opinion) there is aways someone wanting to plug it, so it becomes unhealthy and dies. And that is not necessarily a bad thing. Think zer0care, the mandate, the choices to be offered, the death panels, the potential loss of doctors no longer willing to practice, a compliant media bent over saying ala barney wants a frank.
