“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered, “he said to them, ‘You also go and WORK in my vineyard.’ Matt 20:7

Just when you thought you couldn’t get worse than Jimmy Carter you go and trip over a guy named Richard Nixon. The big question for the Establishmedia is, what do you know and when will you report it? This is another giant blow for the corrupt media industrial complex as it continues to attempt to push their rope up hill in hopes nobody will notice their efforts. This may have been the worst month in the histoir of this Country for the President and the Stone Age Press.

To imagine the President of the United States has to offer Executive Protection for himself or his Attorney General which doesn’t happen every day and it is greeted with a yawn and a snooze by PravdABDNC. These are theoretically the recorders of history and you have the biggest historic event since Bill Clinton denying sleeping with that woman and they want to hide it behind the big recovery. His and their biggest problem is they don’t understand they are racing the Indy 500 in a model T. The Brietbart highway has already reported, editorialized and found Attorney General Holder to be another cog in the corrupt Chicago Machine who was willing to risk lives to take guns out of the hands of Americans by putting them in the hands of Mexican drug dealers to vilify gun makers.

My source inside the White House who will be named Deep Throat from now on, says it was hatched by Barack, Michelle, Holder and Valarie Jarrett in the Oval office with Nazi Pelosi on the phone in a crass attempt at attaining one of their lifelong goals, the destruction of the 2nd Amendment. Biden was there but they gave him a balloon so he was completely mesmerized and likely won’t remember anything.

These people believed America had changed for the better and was ready for their liberal doctrine by their landslide victory. For 50 years these power hungry commie libs have wanted to install their new world order and this was their opportunity. The gun industry was target number one so they found an old shuttered program from the Bush Administration that tracked guns and then planted a bunch of assault rifles in the drug cartels with tracking devices so when they were used for a crime they could be traced back to Smith and Wesson to vilify them and shut them down through more gun regs. Problem is the crime they were used in was murdering a border agent and then the cover-up began.

Unlike Nixon, the crime was worse than the cover-up which was done by Holder, Jarrett, Pelosi and Obama and it if ever reported by the Obamedia will make Nixon look like a Boy Scout. Watergate was not even a crime in any real sense it was a break-in for an unknown reason although they were done all the time by both Parties. It was most likely done to retrieve Howard Dean’s wife’s prostitution receipts and it basically exposed the sordid side of politics of the era. The sacks of money were used by both sides and hardly a surprise to anybody involved although the media did their primary job which was to destroy Republicans. When you really looked at the story without the hype or media virtual conviction you had to ax, what exactly could he have been guilty of? The closest issue of criminality was lying to cover for his loyal staff but what President hasn’t done that and is it a crime? Well Obama has a murdered cop lying in the Portico which has him head and shoulders below Watergate.

Are Obama and Holder guilty of murder? Not directly, but they are guilty of reckless endangerment of people’s lives in the pursuit of power. This was a half baked idea born out of pure hatred of America and the gun industry which quickly got out of hand and now there are hundreds of dead Mexicans and a border agent Brian Terry. Their idea of putting guns in the hands of drug cartels left a trail of blood a thousand miles long and 500 miles wide. Like every liberal idea there was nothing but pain and suffering wherever the guns and cartel went yet the ends justified the means and in this case people’s lives. They are guilty of a massive cover-up in multiple departments, which you would think is newsworthy however it is on the wrong side, the Dems so there will be no potential Pulitzers.

Day after day, week after week and year after year we continue to ax ourselves when is the media industrial complex going to finally report fairly? The answer is when the people are getting 100% of their news from the internet. Unlike the establishmedia the net is a smorgasbord of slants and views so you can decide for yourself what the truth is and what makes sense. Until the ancient echo chamber goes bankrupt they will continue to be nothing more than Democrat activists running campaigns for their local and national candidates hiding the truth and spreading their programmed lies, nothing more. The good news is America understands that and discounts every one of their statements with the proper mountain of salt before they ingest it.

In the end there is no hiding the truth in this case. No matter if Executive privilege is granted or not America will know most of the truth of this tragedy. This is no longer the Watergate era where there are gatekeepers of the news there are no more gates and the truth flows freely on electrons around those gates. America will figure out there was another attempt to vilify an industry like they did with oil, banking, auto and coal only this time they were using guns as the weapon and a brave officer was killed needlessly. America will also be watching to see how the media conducts itself whether they are real journalists or continue to play games like this is some big high school football game and have to make sure their team wins, so what if people die; go team go!

This crime exposes the entire corrupt machine from top to the bottomless pit. There will be no search for the truth of how these people were murdered only how to minimize the political damage. There is no guilt or consolation for the families since they don’t believe they did anything wrong. In their world getting rid of guns in America is a noble cause and if people died, they tried. These are absolute zealots in their attempt to build their utopian world and having absolute control is the first step which is where Fast and Furious came together. This Nixonian cover-up is going to expose the District of Corruption from top to bottom and east to west letting America see clearly how complete it is. Humpty Dumpty is sitting at the bottom of the wall and all the Kings Men are trying to put him together again.

Pray for Brian Terry’s Memory

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily mine, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

I used to like the Sunday thread when Brit Hume was doing fox news, now I can't watch it.

That smug liberal bastard, Chris Wallace, turns my stomach.

They need to put him on the same show with Shemp Smith so I can miss them both at once.

Bray,

That is the best and most accurate description of Fast & Furious that I have read or heard.

One question, were Watergate burglers going after Howard Dean's wife hooker receipts or John Dean's?

If either Chamber of Congress this coming week votes to hold the AG in contempt, this will be an historic first time for a full chamber to vote on contempt charges.

[If the person being charged were in the Chamber, the Sergeant at Arms would immediately take the person in custody. Since the person, in this instance, is in another branch, it will create a Constitutional issue and probably a political showdown. (Pubbies never seem to hold up well during political showdowns, so I would expect them to fold within the week. This could make Boehner cry.)]

Yes, I caught the reference to “Howard Dean’s wife” which is probably John Wesley Dean IV’s wife Mo (Maurine), alleged high priced call girl, who sat behind him at bloviating Sen. Sam Ervin’s show trial. But other Watergate tales bring in Howard Hughes, the reclusive rich guy then living atop Law Vegas and a search for Gemstone file. And another Howard would be E. Howard Hunt of Bay of Pigs infame. He was part of the White House Plumbers unit.

Brilliant as usual.
Pays to remember the entire reason for all this mess was to prove the contention by Hillary and others that American guns smuggled into Mexico and are responsible for 90% of the deaths there. Not the drug cartel, crooked govt. or anything else but the guns themselves. Therefore laying a foundation for increased gun control here in the U.S. which has been a huge goal of the far left for years.
Trouble is it just doesn’t hold water. A study from FNC shows a different number not the 90% the far left so desperately wants to make true. Here’s the real truth

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/04/02/myth-percent-small-fraction-guns-mexico-come/

Turns out only 17% of the guns used to committ crimes in Mexico are from the good ol’ US.

Truth seldom deters the regime however. So we have an administration that naievely thinks they can flood the country with guns then blame it on Bush and his Wide Receiver program that ended in 07,was closely monitored, known by both the US and Mexico not done in secret, and when it looked like it was going south was disbanded immediately. Far different from F&F.
All is not well and the regime is relegated to trying to wait the clock out which hopefully won’t happen.

ICE agent's family files wrongful death claim against Justice Dept.

CBS News ^ | June 20, 2012 4:09 PM | Sharyl Attkisson

Posted on Wed Jun 20 16:31:01 2012 by Southnsoul

CBS News has learned that the family of ICE Special Agent Jaime Zapata has filed a claim for wrongful death against the Justice Dept. and other federal agencies. Zapata was gunned down by suspected drug cartel members in Mexico in Feb. 2011 with weapons later linked to an ATF case in the Texas area. Joining the claim is Zapata's surviving partner in the attack: Victor Avila.

In an interview last November, Zapata's family told CBS News they feel that U.S. law enforcement could have stopped the sale of a gun used to kill their son. CBS News obtained law enforcement records that show the gun that killed Zapata came from the U.S., and the suspects who allegedly trafficked it had been under law enforcement's watch for months in Dallas but weren't arrested.

In February, CBS News learned a second weapon used in the Zapata attack was also linked to an ongoing case under the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

The Justice Department has said ATF "was not aware of" the suspect's purchase of the gun that killed Zapata when it happened, and that answering further questions would jeopardize the investigation.

Thanks for the thread AB.

I really can't wait until Marco comes on in a few minutes here.

Here's a short excerpt from An American Son authored by Marco.

On page 6 Rubio explains what went through his mind immediately before he took the stage to accept his huge win as our Senator here in Florida, classic Rubio.

Their children and grandchildren would never suffer what they had suffered. (Communism under Castro)They would do things their parents could not do. They would live their own dreams in a country that believed in them.

"My success and the success of anyone from my generation is deeply personal to them. It affirms that their lives have had purpose and meaning. As they near the end of their lives, they ask themselves the question we all ask in the end:What was it all for? Did we matter? Their children,a generation priveleged by their sacrifices, were their answer. Yes, they mattered. Our children are the mark they made in the world."

Classic Rubio,I can't put the book down. It's just too good. After reading just a few pages of this you realize here is Ronald Reagan II,here is a president of the future who will put the country first and has historic American values.

Try this for size:

Obama invoked executive privilege to put a stop to investigating the murder of Jamie Zapata.

From what I'm gathering, Obama invoked executive privilege to stop anyone from finding out that it's our OWN government that killed Zapata because he was getting too close to figuring out that F&F was an untraceable gun running scheme implemented for the purpose of getting assault weapons ultimately banned in the United States because these types of weapons in the hands of Americans pose the greatest threat to the government when the SHTF?

Talking about Metro Sheepherder, I blew a gasket the other night, Friday? when FNC interrupted an hour long show with Hannity interviewing Marco for the entire hour! We got to hear background of a child abuser until the top of the hour when we learned what we already knew that some idiot in Penn. was a child molestor! Big whoop, surprise, surprise!!Thanks a lot FNC.
At least Sean got them to rerun the show tonight at 9:00PM. Small consolation, hope they don’t pull that trick again.

It could be good for the Prez to lose the AZ immigration issue in the Supreme Court this coming week, because it could help him energize his base Hispanics.

Cripes, is that a classic case of Whistling Past the Graveyard or what?

By "...his base Hispanics....", does he mean all of those illegals that got voter registration cards along with their first batch of welfare (aka DNC graft) checks and the Obamaphone, or just that loudmouth bunch of racebaiters the MSM's got posing for pictures this week?

JMHO, the only people in this country who are "energized" right now is the people who've been footing the bill for this craporama and who have had this criminal administration, their corrupt political structure, their pimp media and all of their other sodomite pets right up to their eyebrows. (Check with Wisconsin voting for that...)

And Wallace is only too aware of that situation.

Still, he's got his marching orders and he knows he'd best put the very best spin he can on everything he can.

While he can.

(I've really got to wonder what people like Wallace are thinking deep down about their future. I guess he's got a bright spot someplace selling used cars, but I wouldn't buy from him.)

Morning AB, All…..

Was hot in the swamps last week but was everywhere.

As always, thank you AB for doing this thread.

Couple of my Blog posts I invite yon readers to peruse. One is my take on Fast & Furious because I’ve been studying this case, getting all the facts, getting up to snuff on this. I suspect this will be a subject of the Sunday talk shows as well so should yon reader wish, maybe check it out now. Though hey, plenty of people have chimed in on this subject as it is, no matter what MSNBC tells you, a HUGE issue.

http://patfish.blogspot.com/2012/05/need-political-62312add-to-front-page.html

Also a link to my book review on Dick Cheney’s book “In My Time”.

http://patfish.blogspot.com/2012/05/book-review-in-my-time-by-dick-cheney.html

I really enjoyed Cheney’s book but was very surprised at so many things. My heading tease for the book is:
Book Review: “In My Time” by Dick Cheney. Who Knew Cheney Was So Liberal?

For now let me say, softly, that I’m hearing rumbles of a possible march on Washington over the Fast & Furious. I don’t know where this will go, if anywhere, but if anything ever deserved the Tea Party to make a fuss it’s the Fast & Furious. For now I will enjoy the commentary on both the Sunday talk shows and this thread.

Here’s a video on F&F by Bill Whittle that ought to go viral - he does a great job explaining why the Wide Receiver program under Bush was nothing like what Obama/DOJ did & why F&F was so horrendous (they needed Mexican deaths for it to ‘work’) and how SHAMEFUL it is that the media won’t report it. I’ve already sent it on to folks I know. Bill Whittle is just terrific.

Watching the press on the F&F issue is almost embarrasing. Check out NewsBusters - http://www.newsbusters.org

The hits just keep on coming.

Everyone needs to read Bray’s article; it’s great!

I’ve been saying all along on this thread—for years—that our biggest enemy is the press. They hate us and our values. They might win this fight, though.

We need to really put the pressure on. A TEA party-like rally in Washington DC makes perfect sense.

Anyways, I’m off to church/Mass. Ill be praying that the press has to tell the truth. That’s all I ask. See y’all in a few hours!

...We’ve got to also take some steps. Even as he is doing more to deal with the drug cartels sending drugs into the United States, we need to do more to make sure that illegal guns and cash aren’t flowing back to these cartels. That’s part of what’s financing their operations. That’s part of what’s arming them. That’s what makes them so dangerous. And this is something that we take very seriously, and we’re going to continue to work on diligently in the months to come.

The ‘efforts to assist Mexico’ part starts at about 25 minutes;

He then answered questions on a number of topics including the economy, efforts to assist Mexico in combatting drug cartels, international monetary policy, tax policy, stem cell research, and the Middle East peace process.

If either Chamber of Congress this coming week votes to hold the AG in contempt, this will be an historic first time for a full chamber to vote on contempt charges.

Why why why do they even have to waste valuable air time on the RAT Cummings? I seriously doubt Wallace has the nads to needle the lying bastard.

Cummings asked by Wallace if he would keep his promise to the Terry's (parents) that he would not rest until he got to the bottom of this.

Cummings changes the topic to how he had a nephew slaughtered in his district (probably black on black crime) and states that there is no evidence that Terry was killed by a F&F weapon.

I don’t know how Issa maintains his composure when dealing with these worms.

Issa: “The bottom line is Justice lied to the American People in Feb and they lied to the American People for 10 months.”

So a little note here....

Today is the 23rd anniversary of my marriage. Indeed. 23 years.

Got my gift....guess what?

A pair of Bushness binoculars!

For I do love to watch my birdfellows and my current pair of binocs broken so much you must hold one lens in each hand.

Husband brags he got seventy five bucks off, that these are specially made for bird watchers.

Husband can get a deal anywhere, any time.

So I can now see the children of the thrashers who nested in my hedge rose, the wrens who nested-I’m not making this up-in my polka dot plant, and the cardinals who nested in my serviceberry bush.

I am a Backyard Wildlife Habitat Steward, so ordained by the National Wildlife Federation. My yard has been given “Backyard Wildlife Habitat” status.

Just so you know Conservative types love the environment, more than a liberal and their silly causes ever will.

To have a backyard wildlife habitat is to provide food, shelter, water and cover for the wildlife in your surround, to have them come right in your yard to teach your children and grandchildren all about God’s creatures.

Okay, watching Fox and got some thoughts.

I’m still getting used to this new laptop, but about five minutes ago, Congressman Elijah Cummings blamed GW Bush for Fast and Furious, it seems to me.

The Dems have to tread carefully, given that a man was killed here.

Exactly, its scary that a once valid party with difference from ours that were not always 180 degrees has now become little more than a shill for communism here in the U.S. Really sad.On another front the far lefts’ alliance with the mooslims will come back to bite them in the butt.

Congressman Elijah Cummings blamed GW Bush for Fast and Furious, it seems to me.

The Dems are playing word games.

They are claiming a program under Bush was a 'similar tactic' to Fast and Furious. They claim they 'ended that program' early in the Obama Admin.

They are muddying the water to claim that their Fast and Furious was just an outgrowth of the Bush tactic. They are claiming 'fruit' while comparing apples and oranges.

Wow Issa just avoided a huge dem talking point by DNC dave. He(dnc dave) tried to claim that the gun walking program stared under Bush under WR when everyone knows it didn’t. They want to blurr the water quickly and as muddy as they can.Issa caught it and corrected DNC Dave right away and DNC dave backed off quickly, didn’t even try to pretend that he was not lying.
dnc dave now wants to know what can be proven if Issa gets everything he wants. Issa says “what was being covered up?”

Agreed.

I suspect Issa makes frequent visits to a soundproof room where he lets go with several long, loud primal screams :)

And when Michelle Bachmann used the US Constitution as an answer in the debates, she showed me she gets it, and that made my mind up until she dropped out and Newt framed the election as it should be. Romney should clue in on all that.
