A group of Brooklyn students on a school trip to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum were booted from the hallowed site after they callously hurled trash into its fountains.
The vile vandals from Junior High School 292 in East New York treated the solemn memorial its reflecting pools honoring the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks like a garbage dump.

Thanks for the ethno-breakdown.
The pct on free-reduced lunch tells me all...bunch of ghetto punks
The little piglets do it on city buses & trains every day.
Their trash talk is worse than the litter they leave behind. No manners, no respect. Bring back the fire & brimstone!
Skittles wrapers and watermelon iced tea cans are litter? That’s racist- not wastist.

And that’s exactly what these kids are——GARBAGE.
The kids were just expressing their creative talents as their contributions to the memorial. I was expecting graffiti from the NYC yutes instead.
Amish Yutes.
Garbage Patch Kidz.
Baseballs are litter? "The pond thing"?
It appears that the avant-garde memorial failed to make an impression on the urban youth. Maybe our memorials need to be a little more specific, such as an obelisk inscribed, "Moslem terrorists killed thousands of Americans here. What are you going to do about it?"
And given our society's penchant for throwing coins and other items into every water feature, perhaps we need to reevaluate the emphasis on "reflecting pools" in public space. If every "pond thing" is a wishing well, it seems the viewer is unclear on the concept.
What kind of school admin thought it was a good idea to unleash a pack of feral miscreants onto a hallowed memorial site?
One who, like the current administration, is compelled by instinct to desecrate, defile, and profane America’s most holy places, laws, and traditions.
There is money well spent.
$17,000+ per student, and they act like this.
I think my state spends less than half that on each kid. I don’t think the other kids would let a classmate do that. (And besides, who but a rich kid tosses away a good baseball like it’s trash?)
Just goes to show, all the money in the world spent on the schools can’t make up for chaos at home.
For some reason that memorial just looks scary to me.

..... And this surprises anyone? With a role model like the first lady saying "all this for a damned flag" while at the dedication ceremony there, why should we expect them to show respect?
Students on a field trip recently damaged property at Bennett Place in NC. :( The damage was intentional.
