Donald K. Davis, 23, of the 7600 block of South Morgan Street, was charged with attempting to disarm a peace officer and attempted armed robbery, both felonies..Felonies. Yeah. Until he goes to court and the Crook County States Attorney pleads them down to misdemeanors. Like Loitering [/s] or Creating a public disturbance, just so he can get an easy guilty plea deal and avoid an actual trial which would involve WORK.
And which would also tick off mayor Rahm's constituents, like this mutt's family, whose voted Democrat since they got their first gubmint check from LBJ. Plus actually prosecuting for Felonies would be seen as 'unfairly targeting minorities for minor offenses'. And that would cost Rahm Votes.
And we can't have that, now can we.
