Issa: No evidence so far of White House cover-up

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Congress doesn't have any evidence so far of a White House cover-up involving a botched gun-tracking operation, a top Republican said Sunday, countering the House speaker's assertion that President Barack Obama or his aides deliberately misled lawmakers.

"No we don't," said Rep. Darrell Issa, R.-Calif., in response to a question on "Fox News Sunday" about whether lawmakers had proof now to back Speaker John Boehner's claim about White House officials' involvement.

How can one determine if there is no evidence of a cover up when there is NO DATA produced by the DOJ or White House?

Issa should known better and said so.

I.e. we don't know what's in the docs that Obama and Holder are hiding and we don't know why they are hiding them.

But the fact that they are both hiding them implies guilt at some level.

He wants them officially or to see what Obama/Holder leave out. Creates a “smoking gun” situation.

White House wanted to restrict gun rights in US. Untracked gun sold to straw purchasers against the concerns of the gun sellers themselves to be handed to cartels to murder hundreds of Mexican citizens and at minimum two US agents?

This makes the Watergate break in look like a picnic.

Makes one wonder that if F&F was Obama’s means to the end goal of getting assault weapons banned in the United States, was the BP oil rig sabotaged as a means to the end goal of killing our conventional oil industry?. Obama went hog wild crazy with moratoriums following the BP disaster, many of which had no connection to the gulf area. Call me ‘tin foil hat’ but this is how Obama rolls.. Pure evil.

Hope so, but I'm not betting on it. If so how did Isaa get them? Would they be admissible if it went to trial, you know Holder and Bambi would fight that to the death.

Help me out here. It would seem that if it came out in the future that Issa now had the evidence he says he doesn’t have, the credibility and motives of the GOP would be questioned.
