Hello....

I have followed Glenn for years...and he usually is correct. Brooks is an idiot. Can anyone name a person on the Conservative side who can fill Washington DC for a rally? Jerusalem? Soon Jerrys world for 4 days? Forget the rally stuff, start a network from the ground up with between 350,000 and 400,000 paid subscribers? Bill Kristol likes kicking him around too. Some would be wise to do what Glenn suggests, listen and check it out yourself.

There is no possibility of freedom, democracy, & the rule of law EVER flourishing in muslims countries, as these things require a moral people, & islam is fundamentally immoral.

Their morality is old Testament with some adendums. .....literal and quite harsh. but it is a moral order.

I disagree. Muslims do not respect the 10 commandments. Muslim Creation is significantly different from the Hebrew version, spanning from 4 to 8 days in multiple versions in the koran. Murder, rape, lying, & theft are never justified in Judaism, whereas in islam, they are all justified. Allah demands islam be spread by force. Judaism is a religion of free will. Any similarities between Judaism & islam is a result of Mohammed's exposure to Judaism in his early life & plagiarism of Hebrew doctrine to fill out the blank areas of islam.

As for moral order, the Mafia has moral order, too, but not any moral order that decent, honorable people would recognize. What you are suggesting is cultural relativism, closely akin to multiculturalism - both a failure of ignorant people to tell good from bad. You equate moral order with immoral order.

History is full of examples of immoral order. Nazi Germany, the Cultural Revolution of Mao, the declining Roman Empire, Jim Jones, David Koresh - all orderly, but devoid of morality. Order is independent of morality.

Just because islam or David Koresh claims the mantle of moral authority, doesn't make it so.
