Way too long on the arm waving and short on substance.

But hey, it makes for good ratings, fits the template. Why not publish?

Dear Green freaks,
No, you may not have more money. No, you may not write more laws. No, you may not have Communism or Socialism.

But, there is a problem with global warming. There is a quick and easy way for you to lower greenhouse gas emissions.

Kill yourself. No, seriously. Here is a guide on methods: Click, then die.

Kill yourself.
Love,

Laz

Bodacious the Bull (1988 - May 16, 2000) was a Charbray bull who was infamous throughout the sport of rodeo, and was commonly referred to as “The World’s Most Dangerous Bull.”

Very appripro use of the term, Graewoulf.

It sounds more like the oceans are getting lumpy.

They probably used low tide as their control and took all of their measurements at high tide. Heh.

Is the USA going to flip over?

California people need to quit eating so many lo-fat, lo-cal foods. They're getting too skinny and there's not enough weight there!

I did a recheck of where I may have found this theory about sinking tectonic plates, and this link seems to provide some insight, in relatively easy to understand terms

www.trincoll.edu/~cgeiss/tr/tr2/tr_2_p1.pdf

Cut and paste if the link does not seem to work.

"It’s quite obvious that we need to build a pipeline from the east coast to the west, so that water can be pumped over there to lower the water on the east coast. We may need to supplement it with railway and highway tank cars if the pipeline can’t pump water fast enough!"

Thanks, that is the funniest reply I have seen in a long time.

No no no - let it go the other way and let it pump a generator for free* energy!

*Not including governmental costs which may increase for any or no reason

Yep, all they need do is a simple internet search to find the cause. It is one reason (artifical levees are the other) that New Orleans is below sea level now. Of course, there is no grant money in ground water-related subsidence.

I looked up Sallenger.

From the USF Adjunct Faculity listing:

Asbury H. Sallenger Jr. (U.S. Geological Survey), Professor; Ph.D., Virginia, 1975. Nearshore sedimentary and wave processes, coastal erosion, sediment transport.

I was curious to see if this guy was connected to Michael Mann and Penn State, but I'm remembering that Mann was from UVA, generating some press after the fact.

It looks like they're separated by almost a generation, but maybe UVA is source of the questionable global warming "scientists"?

Okay, Okay I saw this on Gilligan’s Island once. The land is not sinking and the water level is not rising. Gilligan is just putting the stick out farther in the water to get the bigger lobsters.

That was a good one. But it brought to life a much bigger dilemma. Ginger, Maryann, or Lovie? When Mr. Magoo passed away, that dame would be worth a fortune.

It is one reason (artifical levees are the other) that New Orleans is below sea level now.

Yup, and without deposition of Mississipi River sediments, wave caused ocean erosion is eating away at the barrier islands and swamps leading to encroachment of gulf water and making tropical storms and hurricanes much more dangerous for New Orleans and coastal areas.

Of course, there is no grant money in ground water-related subsidence.

There used to be in Arizona back in the 70's, but not much if any now.
