FAIR ^ | June 25, 2012 | Dan Stein

"Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), called today's ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court upholding key provision of Arizona's immigration enforcement law, SB 1070, 'an important victory for the people of Arizona and citizens everywhere who want their jobs, tax dollars and security protected from mass illegal immigration,'(SCOTUS upholds law....) FAIR will be posting more detailed commentary on the (5-3 ruling by the Supreme Court), which struck down some provisions of SB 1070 but upheld the ability of state police to check legal status. which struck down some provisions of SB 1070 but upheld the ability of state police to check legal status.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (saying the decision was a victory for the rule of law.)

In the wake of today's ruling, the Obama administration has ended the 287(g) program. "Officials also said Immigration and Customs Enforcement will be selective in responding to the expected increase in calls from Arizona and other police agencies about immigration status of people they pull over. Officials said ICE will not respond to the scene unless the person in question meets certain criteria -- such as being wanted for a felony," (Fox News reported).

HOWEVER Obama says "if called, they will not answer the phone". Vendictive politics from Barack Obama and Eric Holder...Arizonians must fight back by not voting for this anti-American who truly hates America...Arizona is one of the most American states in the nation...most of her citizens are of mixed heritage and most have fought for all Americans in many foreign wars. What a disgrace this Community Organizer is, little more than the Chicago Thug he is. As is his pal Holder.

today's ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court upholding key provision of Arizona's immigration enforcement law, SB 1070, ...

No comment was available from any of the Justices after they received a poke in the eye from Obama who overruled them by refusing to enforce the very law they upheld.

It’s like this: The Supreme Court has told Arizona that if they catch a burglar, they can’t shoot him. They must call the `police’.
As we like to say here, when life or death is a matter of seconds, the police are only minutes away.
The biggest problem now for Arizona is that the `police’ and courts have told them to keep their guns locked-up—that their police powers are now severely circumscribed in dealing with foreign invaders—and today we learn from our venal, petty and vindictive government that if they apprehend an intruder and call for directions, the federals: the people with the sole responsibility for “immigration” per the courts, have been ordered by their fuehrers, Obama and Napolitano, to tell Arizona LEOs to go straight to hell ... if they bother at all with taking the call.
And it all comes back to this: If the `feral’ government had been doing its job all along, this would never have become a problem.
Now the illegal maids, pool cleaners and landscapers, et al., will grumble even more for amnesty—a la `86—and their employers will then need even more illiterate, uneducated, untrained Mexican peasants to cook for them, to accept payments under the table, to mow their lawns, and so forth and so on. And of course they will have families and friends and shirt-tail relatives anxious to climb on board and to receive the cradle-to-grave education, medication, three hots and a cot they have learned to expect.
Did you hear about the illegals who have taken the places of Americans on lists for organ transplants? You can’t make this stuff up.
The SCOTUS kicked this can down the road and saying that that is disappointing is like asking Mrs. Lincoln how she liked the play. With this, the debt and all the rest, I won’t be surprised if someday our children hunt us down and kill us once they figure things out, what happened when our own government was sharing the American Dream with everyone—in Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa, Europe ... everywhere but America and with everyone but Americans.
First come the smiles, then the lies, then the shooting.

I wonder if they're going to play a similiar game with their Obamacare ruling?

This isn’t going to work out well for the illegals or the obama regime. Once it’s decided that the pres can do this, then our side can do it too. Once it’s known they’re illegal, the feds won’t deport them. But... their kids are using our public school system at significant expense - the kids will need to be expelled. The parents have jobs... did they falsify anything? etc... There are enough state and local laws to make life not worth it in AZ. Plenty.

In the next admin, San Fran and other sanctuary cities are gonna get hammered. I can’t wait to see the ads listing the DUIs by illegals that have killed. I can’t wait to see the ads listing the rapes of little kids by illegals. Brought to you and protected by the obama regime.

Talk about a drowning man taking down other with him. We knew obama would be feral as he sensed he was done. It’s going to get worse.

The don’t think this law was written or enacted to survive the federal courts. The purpose was to draw national attention to the consequences of an open border and lax federal enforcement. Arizona accomplished that and preserved the right to detain illegals even if those illegals are later released by federal authorities.

Note to AZ. Start shooting illegals. then you don’t have to deport.

Az. could put up another tent city as a holding pen until the feds come and collect them....Pink would still be the color of choice...

Impeachable offense, violation of his oath of office to uphold the Constitution, aiding and abetting a foreign invasion of the several states, and high crimes and misdemeanors. What more needs to be said?
