When hostilities in the Pacific ended in Aug 1945, my father's division remained on the Philippine island of Mindanao for four months awaiting transportation back to CONUS. After nearly two years of combat or preparation for combat, it became hard to maintain discipline when suddenly there was so little to do except wait. Illegal stills sprung up and other antics abounded. A homosexual in my father's company made himself known; he was attempting to proposition and molest other men. Upon learning of the situation, the First Sergeant told my father, “No problem.” He marched the sex pervert into the surrounding jungle, M1911A1 .45 sidearm in hand. Only the First Sergeant and the .45 returned. True story.

As recently as the late 1980s and for their own safety, we would hustle homos off the ship and out of the Navy. Inevitably, the perverts would make moves on hetero sailors, often in the berthing compartments after taps and lights out. During my last sea tour, two of them “mysteriously” disappeared overboard during blue water operations; no trace. Another true story.

I do not condone summary justice. But I less favor the orgy of celebration of an immoral and dangerous lifestyle choice the Bathhouse Barry administration is foisting on the U.S. Armed Forces. Homosexuality is incompatible with military readiness and maximum warfighting capacity, as well as being detrimental to morale and good order & discipline. There are "few problems" because any right-thinking service member who speaks up against the idiocy will be punished or run out of the military.

I mentioned something like this here on FR a few weeks back and someone accused me of getting my ideas on homos in the military from the movies.

I spent four years in the USAF and every year we had assembly were read the riot act about homos in service, then had to sign a paper showing we had been at the assembly.

In basic we also had to serve one day of KP at the out processing HOMO barracks.

we were told we would see things unbelievable and we were not to laugh, point or joke about it.

Expect an increase in “Friendly Fire” and “Lost at Sea” reports.

I’m guessing your understanding of the U.S. military stems from an overconsumption of hollywood movies.***
