WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Justice Department has set up a hotline for the public to report potential civil rights concerns regarding the Arizona law that requires police to check the immigration status of those they stop for other reasons.

We should flood this line with reports that the civil rights of Arizona citizens are being violated by the failure of the Federal government to enforce immigration law. Tie that line up and make this strategy untenable for them.

Good idea, flood the number with all sorts of calls. I think I’ll order pizza, make hotel reservations, call about my car repairs, ask to speak to various hollywood stars etc.

If I lived in Arizona, I would start a campaign for people to call this number to report civil rights violations by the federal government for failing to protect the boarders and by extension the civil rights of its legal residents.
Not that I would ever encourage others to go and make a bunch of crank calls or anything....

This is an abuse of power targeting the citizens of Arizona. They are being invaded and he is offering aid and comfort to their invaders.

Why not just perform massive Citizens’ Arrests of ANYONE we damn well suspect of breaking our sacred Federal Immigration Laws?
Citizens have more rights and less restrictions than law enforcement officials.

If anyone in the LSM is paying attention, the fact that he has resources for this but says there are insufficient resources to accept calls for citizenship checks sort of undermines his "insufficient resources" argument.
Obama is trying to trigger a Civil War - and he may well succeed unless he is impeached and removed from office.

As the past 3 1/2 years have gone by it is evident that all States are on his target list. Obey my commandments or I will strike you down. When will America wake up and kick this ass out with impeachment. Even if there is not enough time it would eliminate him for winning reelection.

If I were Arizona I would immediately have all state and local governments to cease any cooperation with the feds. I would stonewall, drag my feet, deny, and obfuscate the feds at all levels to the point of considering holding back collected payroll taxes and doing so to pay for the damages the feds have caused because of them failing to do their duty under the Constitution.
At this point what does Arizona have to lose? The feds have declared that it will not be protected by federal law or agencies except for those the feds pick and choose. Unfortunately the feds aka obama has declared war on Arizona except for releasing the military on the state and its populace. Sad...
The real one who needs to be arrested is Obama, but I suspect the SS would not cooperate.
