I think you can add Oprah’s “OWN’ network to that list.

When was Current TV ever "important?"

I think after Baraq loses the election, he’ll have a show on PMSNBC every night from 8 to 10. Since he’ll be on vacation or playing golf about 60% of the time, Blowprah will be the perfect guest host.

I won’t miss any of those brands. The only one I ever bought was Avon and that was 40 years ago.

My wife works for Avon (Administratively and in direct sales). I hope for the best for them. I don't care about the others. Survival of the fittest.

Let me know if you would like a cataloge. :o)

Not one of those do I care about...American Airlines would be the closest as I like a lot of competition in the airlines but I guess life goes on.

I collect Avon bottles, decanters, etc.

Just started a couple of years ago, but my mother-in-law has been collecting since the 80’s when she was a saleslady. She has hundreds of the bottles from waay back.

I used to find the bottles plentiful at flea markets and thrift shops throughout the area for less than a dollar most of the time, but now they are getting scarce, and the ones that are there are now going for $10 or more...........

With many former GM and Chryco dealers selling Suzuki now I hope the company can hang on.

I heard it long ago, but if I remember right Suzuki did not really gear themselves for the US market. They used this market to “unload” their over stock.

I think some things are easier to predict than others. I remember walking through costco several years ago and saying to my wife, “These are the last “picture tube” based TV’s we will ever see here. In hindsight it is obvious, but at the time it was less so. Still, it was clear to me that there was no room for them at costco even at the bottom of the price range. And, of course, they were the last ones we saw there.

But I dumped TV in 1997 and have been waiting for it’s demise ever since. Calling it for 2013 doesn’t make sense, unless they are aware of some stats/trends I am not aware of, which is highly possible.

The endeavor was important to the libs. It was just a propaganda tool. Successful result, not their concern.

They say important brands, so why in the world would they mention Current TV. It is such an unimportant brand that it is never mention without the identifier, “Al Gore’s.” That is about an unimportant as a brand can be.

That’s OK thanks. Do they still make that body lotion that is supposed to also repel mosquitoes? It smells so bad it repels every living thing. I know that is not your wife’s fault but it is some stinky stuff, some of the other products were excellent.

I wonder how long Mitsubishi (car company) can stay in business.

They still make Galants and Lancers the same as a decade ago. There products are relics.
