In the wake of the U.S. Supreme Courts summary reversal of the Montana Supreme Court decision on corporate spending in elections, Montanas governor and lieutenant governor say the fight isnt over.
Gov. Brian Schweitzer and Lt. Gov. John Bohlinger took their bipartisan message to YouTube yesterday, saying Republicans and Democrats dont always agree on policy matters, but theres one thing we do agree on, and that is corporate money should not influence the outcome of an election.

Hey Gov, why don’t you just issue an executive order to override the Supreme’s decision? Seems like a popular resolution to laws that you don’t like.

But union money, foundation money and government-spent money should, apparently.
I hate it when repulsive, self-interested grandstanding is disguised as selfless civic highmindedness.

I suspect the politicians well quickly find its to their advantage to run against the out of state PAC’s.
