The problem is Marxism is being looked at as a sort of cult, which is propagating itself among otherwise non-Marxist individuals, who would otherwise be good, freedom loving Americans. I don’t think this is the case. If you read the first page of my website, in my tag, I think I make a convincing case that Leftism is really just the r-selected reproductive strategy which one sees in nature. In nature, r-type strategies grow stronger in any population where fitness is not rewarded, due to the free availability of resources. Once they don’t have to prove fitness to survive and reproduce, the r-strategists begin pumping out tons of less fit offspring, and their increased numbers of offspring numerically outcompete the K-strategist’s careful production of a few fit offspring.

An outgrowth of this concept is, the second a society becomes successful, it’s plentiful resources will be used to support the poor, and this will create r-selection, which will gradually increase the relative number of leftists, until the leftists collapse the society. Once the collapse occurs, resources again grow scarce, fitness again has an advantage (because you have to actually prove yourself to get resources), and K-selection returns, culling the population for those who can succeed, rather than those who simply reproduce fast on government cheese. Hence Conservatism returns, makes the society great again, at which point r-selection returns, and the cycle repeats.

Right now, in our nation, the poor no longer have to prove their ability to get plasma TV’s, cell phones, and even home mortgages, let alone food and shelter. As a result, the nation has officially imposed r-selection on the populace. If r is equal to Leftism, as I allege, then it is no surprise that Marxism will grow, and the nation will head for a collapse.

This would happen in any population in nature, where r-strategists routinely overpopulate populations once resources are freely available, triggering resource exhaustion, and collapsing the ecosystem in the process.

We need to look at political ideology as a more instinctual urge (which can be found throughout nature), manifesting in an intellectual argument in humans. Once we view it as exactly the same thing as the motivators behind the psychologies of the rabbits and wolves in nature, we will understand the beast much better. We will even understand why Liberals are so immune to logic.

If Russia is truly done with Communism and are now “Capitalists”, why do they still support Marxist dictatorships such as Venezuela, Cuba, other far left regimes throughout Latin America, the ChiComs and North Korea? BTW, am I the only one who finds something strangely “off” about Bezmenov? I think I have seen every video on the net. Can’t quite put my finger on it. While he appears to have been truthful, intuition nags at me, saying that there was something rather calculated about his demeanor. Almost as if his matter-of-fact description of, say, Ted Kennedy as a “useful idiot” was used to gain the trust of his audience.

I’ve had enough dealings with devious, calculating personalities that those things jumped out at me. Could be nothing.

That he just sort of vanished doesn’t help. Maybe he slinked off to the Philipines.

I am currently band width challenged and have not seen Yuri’s videos. I have read all his work and the interview posted at the uselessdissident blog and found it credible. The things he warned us about have been confirmed by others as well as our own observations.

Perhaps what you picked up on is a cultural thing: Russian vs US manner of expressing oneself.

In his writing ‘Black is Beautiful: Communism Is Not’ Yuri states that he married a dark skinned woman and live in a black neighborhood in LA.

That is certainly a correct statement. But to say that 95% of the Republican party is Communist is the type of hyperbole that is degrading discussion here on FR. We conservatives have challenges (getting better presidential nominees is one of them) but to say Romney = Obama, or to claim that the GOP is in league with the communist Left is insane blather.

To a point, but he seems fuzzy on detail the further along the path he takes you. I am not trying to be antagonistic at all and don't have time to review the many videos. I was just wondering if anyone else got this impression.

Having much experience around Eastern Europeans (1st generation and also Cold War-era immigrants), I saw much familiarity in his manner. So at first I cancelled that out, but there continued to be something that bothered me. Perhaps it has something to do with his casualness in describing his [previous] use of deception. He was a little too at ease, even considering the cultural frankness.

Hyperbole, perhaps. Degrading, not so much. It is hardly degrading to call people to the carpet for their actions, nor degrading to call a shovel, a shovel. Nor is it insane blather to speculate on nature of the GOP’s equivocation, temporizing, and acquiescence with the Left’s agenda for too many years. In fact, it is central to the issue about whether or not the GOP is a vehicle for conservatism- which is an issue, especially if what myself and the OP think is true- that the left has in fact taken both parties.

Everything is part of God’s plan. Had Obamacare been destroyed, it would have triggered a major stock rally, as companies began to feel that Obama couldn’t run roughshod over the economy unchecked. It would have triggered a hiring wave, as companies suddenly felt they could afford to hire, without fear of insurance costs down the road. By November, these effects would have been clearly felt, and Obama and the media would have trumpeted how wonderfully the economy was finally recovering due to his brilliance. Since a lot of people just want to vote for the black guy, that would have allowed them to do it, and we could easily have had a second term.

As it stands now, Obama has completely intertwined his brand with Liberalism, progressives, the Left, the Democrats, and the whole idea of Big Government. They are the same in people’s heads.

With this ruling, it is almost guaranteed that the economy will be depressed well into the next term, when a Republican will hold that office.

With very little effort, Romney will undo Obamacare, and that, combined with the fact he is not Obama, will trigger a stock market rally, and a bettering of the economic situation.

By then, everyone will subconsciously associate Obama with failure, stupidity, and incompetence of the first order, and since Obama is tied to Liberalism in their heads, they will feel the same way about the left in general. And that feeling will last. Conversely, they will associate Republicans with economic success, and that too will persist for some time.

Again, this country, and our side, is blessed. And I say that as a former agnostic, who only believed in science. All of this will work out fine in the end.
