Skip to comments.Obama Administration Probably Guilty of Murdering Mexicans in "Fast and Furious" War on Mexico

On October 11, 2011 Eric Holder broke the news that Iran had been engaged in a covert war against the United States, and had even sent an agent to the U.S. to involve Mexican drug cartels as accomplices in a plot to murder the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States.
What is truly amazing about this is that Eric Holder has been engaged in his own covert war against another nation...against Mexico and Mexicans for the past three years. In the bizarre world of Washington D.C., the Obama Administration was doing the same thing against the Mexican government that it accused Iran of doing against the United States. It has been arming Mexican drug cartels with thousands of highly lethal battlefield weapons. The cartels have been using those weapons to deadly effect against Mexican officials and Mexican citizens. Hundreds of Mexicans have been killed in cold blood with weapons intentionally provided to them by the Obama Administration.
As recently as 8 Oct 2011 the Los Angeles Times reported:
High-powered assault weapons illegally purchased under the ATF's Fast and Furious program in Phoenix ended up in a home belonging to the purported top Sinaloa cartel enforcer in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, whose organization was terrorizing that city with the worst violence in the Mexican drug wars.http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-atf-guns-20111009,0,6431788.story
In addition to the blood spilled in Mexico, blood has also been spilled in the US. U.S. Border Agent, Brian Terry, murdered in a firefight against the Mexican cartel on the U.S. side of the border, has had the weapons used to kill him positively identified as being among those GIVEN to the drug cartels by the Obama Administration. In a conversation reported by CBS News, Terrys death is callously dismissed as collateral damage. (See http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31727_162-20109529-10391695.html)
While Eric Holder might plead "not guilty" to the above charges, the facts remain the same. If it is not murder and a covert war, the Obama Administration is left with only one dishonorable explanation: they could plead gross incompetence and hundreds of grossly negligent homicides.
The Obama Administration has been a major participant in hundreds of Mexicans being murdered. It has provided deadly arms to the Mexican government's number one public enemy, the blood-thirsty Mexican drug cartels. To date, Mexico has not filed charges in either the World Court or at the United Nations.
Will it do so? Mexico's attorney general, Marisela Morales, quoted in the Los Angeles Times said that:
deliberately letting weapons "walk" into Mexico ...would represent a "betrayal" of [her] country http://articles.latimes.com/2011/sep/19/world/la-fg-mexico-fast-furious-20110920
At this point, the investigation into the Obama Administration's covert war on Mexico has been hampered by obvious obstruction from Eric Holder, the U.S. Attorney General, a man whose incompetence has permitted this travesty to go on. Even now a contempt of Congress vote is being prepared against him. Additionally, President Obama's claim of executive privilege can only mean that the ultimate trail must lead to the top member(s) of the Executive Branch.
Morales, Mexico's attorney general, ...told The Times that she first learned about Fast and Furious from news reports. And as of last fall, she said, U.S. officials had not briefed her on the operation...nor have they apologized. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-fg-mexico-fast-furious-20110920,0,6511144,full.story
"At no time ...In no way would we have allowed it, because it is an attack on the safety of Mexicans."
To repeat, Morales said that directing weapons into Mexico to be used against Mexican citizens and the Mexican government is "a betrayal of [her] country."
The Obama Administration owes more than it can ever repay to the families of Mexican murder victims and to the family of murdered US Border agent, Brian Terry. At the least, it could acknowledge some grave error and begin making reparations to those struck down in cold blood with U.S. provided weapons.
Even though a contempt of Congress citation is all the talk these days, due process should result in criminal charges. These will be small consolation for the murder victims of the Obama Administrations covert war on Mexico.
Let’s call it what it is. Planned genocide. No less.
I couldn't agree more. Well done, xzins.
When Obama begins talking how much he cares for Hispanics, then let him answer to killing innocent Mexicans by the hundreds.
If he’s pro-Hispanic, then the KKK was pro-black.
As you say, one could raise questions of racism, and given the obfuscation, it could cause an enquiring mind to wonder about genocide.
Even as they now discuss this subject — which they wouldn’t in the past even acknowledge — the media carefully avoids speaking of the dead.
They won’t acknowledge the bloody remains of family after family, and they won’t show the emotion that they show even for mistreated animals.
One must ALSO wonder how much longer and how many more Mexicans WOULD have died. (or are STILL dying,) had this not come to light in the most heinous way possible...the murders of two of our own.
Someone, who called our local radio talk show ,speculated that the reason Obama is pandering to the Mexicans is to soften the blow when they discover that he was responsible for lots of deaths due to F&F.
There is a God, and He will eventually bring about justice, even if power-hungry politicians refuse to acknowledge dead bodies stacked in the streets.
How would America feel if Mexico was openly supplying guns to gangs here in the United States to some how justify clamping down on Mexican citizens gun rights?
I think there would be a GREAT number of Americans rightfully looking to exact justice on Mexico and its government.
On behalf of MOST of America I would like to extend a heart felt apology to Mexico and her citizens on behalf of a stupid, arrogant, lawless and utterly corrupt group of democrats in government that no longer represents the vast majority of their citizens any more. That the deaths of YOUR citizens was solely the responsibility of said criminal democrat government.
I know that this is of little solace to you but rest assured that we TRUE AMERICANS are working very hard to see to it that those responsible, up to and INCLUDING the pres__ent of America if necessary are brought to justice.
Ricky and Racky were just killing the Mexicans that Americans were unwilling to kill themselves.
In that case, drug dealers across the nation are all innocent.
Before this story broke, I remember that O and Holder were encouraging the Mexican government to file suit in American courts against US gun manufacturers.
About the time this story broke, you’ll also remember O making a big deal about US gun dealers reporting suspicious sales, and demanded yet another law requiring gun dealers to report these sales. Ignoring the fact that they were already required to report them, and in fact “did” report them in this case. ATF told them, don’t worry about it, its OK, make the sale.
Mexican cartel are using machine guns, rocket launchers, and hand grenades. You don’t buy those at Walmart.
Somehow I got connected to a criminal enterprise, the Obama Administration. Not that I voted for them, because I didn’t, but they are my government.
Because of that I humbly apologize for their hatred of Mexico and Mexicans, for the deaths they have caused, for the damage they have done to thousands of your citizens.
The media sure is careful to keep the program’s Mexican death toll from hispanic voters.
Obama’s claims of ‘executive privilege’ probably involve damage to our foreign policy. He lied to the Meican government about this, and of course he lied to everyone in his Univision interview.
I believe that Holder, Napolitano, Hillary and Obama are up to their eyeballs in this effort to diminish gun owership rights here at home. And a few hundred deaths would do nothing to stop their evil pursuit of disarming Americans.
Since our border with Mexico is uncontrolled, it is reasonable to conclude that we do not know how many other Americans have been murdered by firearms supplied via Fast & Furious in the United States.
One ATF whistleblower stated that when the news broke about the shooting of Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords, alarms went off at ATF headquarters over the chance the firearms was one of the Fast & Furious weapons.
I have no doubt this goes to the top. He and Holder are longtime associates, and even though they might have backchanneled and covered all their conversations, I’m certain that Obama would never have been out of the loop on something like this.
I have no doubt that this is part of a plan to attack the 2nd amendment rights of Americans.
However, are we going too quickly to one obvious possibility and ignoring another that we would be less quick to address?
What if Obama/Holder have some reason to favor/aid the drug cartels? What if power comes from the end of a gun, or what if money greases palms, or what if hundreds of medium transactions finance super-PACs, etc., etc.
Makes you wonder if part of the deal was to leave some of them at the scenes. Wouldn't that be an interesting e-mail for the regime to try to explain.
I agree, Erik.
I know that hundreds of those weapons are still not accounted for. There is no telling how much damage remains to be done by them.
If killing Mexicans is pro-Hispanic, then Hispanics should line up in droves to support gun-runner Barack Hussein Obama.
Bob Beckel, surprisingly, is correct. But, it doesn't excuse the Obama Administration and the DOJ from this heinous deed. They had no business playing this dangerous game with our southern neighbors. Personally, I hope Mexico charges Obama, Holder, and Clinton with crimes against humanity and demands their extradition.
“The Most Arrogant Man in the World”
Just got back from the health club, running on the treadmill, where I heard Beckel assert that Brian Terry would still be dead, the weapon would have been obtained elsewhere. This can not be the new talking point of the dems. I mean isn’t this an admission that gun regs. don’t work? P.S. I almost fell off the treadmill when I heard that statement.
“Mexican cartel are using machine guns, rocket launchers, and hand grenades. You dont buy those at Walmart.”
One of the cartel kingpins that the Mexican feds caught claimed to have immunity from the US b/c of the State Depts involvement in arming them with anything & everything.
Hildahoof is done.
Its not impossible that its “all of the above”.
The point is, O and Holder had started a drumbeat before this all came out, encouraging the Government of Mexico to file suit in American courts against US gun manufacturers. I remember it, and I was expecting it any day when this story broke and they were forced to back off.
What they did instead, to distract attention from it, was start a big push for new reporting regulations, ignoring the fact that gun dealers had reported this.
As for your point, I’ve seen this before. There was a case a few years ago when a south american general was on trial in his home country for running cocaine into the US. His defense was that he was working with DEA and they had agreed to send a load through so they could follow it and see all the connections.
Sounds like a great idea. They went on to run another dozen loads. So at what point does an investigation become a cover for a smuggling operation.
Stories about Fast and Furious tend to overlook its twin operation running guns into Honduras. Supposedly they were selling them to MS13, which is bad enough, but I have wondered if they were arming Zelaya’s partisans. This all took place about the time they were trying to force him back into power.
And Obama is still counting on the hispanic vote...lol!
The SOBs did it for political gain.
Good work, Chaplain.
I didn't know about this. Do you have a link to a good, complete summary of the above? Thanks, marron.
Sorry, it was a Venezuelan general from back before Chavez if I remember correctly. So thats been a few years back now.
I agree. Political gain.
The point, though, is that these “sting” operations are also ideal means of hiding graft/corruption.
Can you publish it....get it to go viral?
Fast & Furious — Obama Lied; Hispanics Died!
It’s so clear.
Funny what you remember and mis-remember.
General Guillen, of the Venezuelan National Guard, working with CIA in 1990. They apparently had infiltrated the Colombians and wanted to prove their agent’s bona fides by sending some shipments through. He and CIA had permission to send a ton; they ultimately sent 22 tons which was sold on the streets.
So, legitimate or not? I remember in the same era a lot of mischief involving CIA and drugs so who knows. Your comment about “stings” being a means of hiding corruption could possibly apply here; they have permission to run a ton so they run 22 tons and sell it on the streets.
I remember a phrase I used to hear back during the Clinton years: the investigation is the cover-up. In some cases maybe the investigation is the smuggling operation.
Great line, Marron.
The link goes into the files for later use. Thank you, FRiend.
Great editorial, xzins!
I don’t know if the planning of this went to the top, but it seems obama may be participating in its coverup.
It boggles my mind that this story has received such little attention before now.
BTW, James Zapata (ICE agent) is another possible victim of Fast and Furious. His parents just filed a wrongful death claim.
Of course Beckel is correct (blind pig/acorn). However, this is off the scale on the "Chutzpah meter" when the whole idea of this scheme was to "prove" that the drug cartels are getting all their guns from legal gun dealers in the US.
