CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Man rips away abortion images, assaults pro-life witness

BREMERTON, Washington, June 27, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) -A camera captured a dramatic scene last month when an infuriated man stormed up cursing to a pro-life protester holding images of an aborted child by the roadside, tore the signs out of his hands and threw them away before assaulting him in an apparent attempt to destroy video evidence.

The conflict began when Kenrick Bradley approached Anti-Choice Project co-founder Andrew St.Hilaire during a protest in front of Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington, on May 2, 2012. Bradley complained that the images were traumatizing to his girlfriend, who had apparently miscarried.

“My girl lost her f****** baby, and we’re driving past this s*** and she has to see this s***,” said Bradley. “I’m very sorry about that that,” said St. Hilaire. “You guys are standing out here with f****** cameras like this s***‘s OK?” Bradley continued.

Bradley eventually grabs the large images, which showed the tiny body parts of children lost to abortion, and threw them over a fence. He later returns to St. Hilaire, who is already on the phone with police and grabs at his camera as a second camera across the street captures the action.

“Hi, I’m being assaulted. I’m being assaulted!” St. Hilaire says into the phone as the struggle ensues.

The Anti-Choice Project reports that Bradley pled guilty on May 23 to charges of malicious mischief, and was ordered to pay $388 for damages to equipment as well as court fees.

“Like many Americans, Mr. Bradley finds the sight of abortion intolerable. But this only raises the question: If abortion is too terrible to look at, why are we tolerating it?” the group asked on its blog.

Why is this not felony assault? If they would know each other it’d be domestic violence and no more boom sticks for loser hothead.

Hope they also were smart enough to file for a restraining order.

Also this is not normal behavior for people who suffered a spontaneous miscarriage. There is no reason on earth to equate or even compare what happened to them to a deliberately torn-up aborted baby.

I believe the guy is lying.

Do you think maybe the reason his girlfriend miscarried is that the foul-mouthed punk punched her??? He looks nuttier than squirrel poop.

A bizarre and apparently uncommon kind of encounter.

I’d have thought the answer to the enraged fellow would be deeper than the “I’m sorry to hear about that” sort of saccharine affected sympathy like you’re the employer telling the destitute applicant he’s not the one going to get hired. More like, perhaps, “she miscarried? that’s terrible! We’re only showing these pictures to protest something that’s even more terrible because some person’s will was the only reason the child had no chance. but still, that’s terrible! let’s go over here out of view of the pictures and talk about it.”

Not sure he gives a “s***” about the other “f****** babies” that are getting shredded alive through abortion. Too bad his “f***** grandchild” didn’t survive.

Sorry, but I don't see this the same as other posters (except HiTech RedNeck). The site of an aborted baby is pretty nasty, even though I think people who have abortions should see what they're actually doing.

On the other hand, it appears the attacker's girlfriend was distraught over a miscarriage. Some people are more traumatized by a miscarriage than others, and frankly, I think we should all be sympathetic to that. I also sympathize with the father who apparently was deeply, emotionally concerned about his "girl."

I support the right of people to protest abortion, but I think the protester should have been more attuned to the situation. According to the article, the child was miscarried, not aborted. The father was distraught. The abortion protester should have tried to diffuse the confrontation by showing actual concern for the father and mother. Fighting abortion is good. Being a peacemaker and showing compassion are good, too.

I think your assessment is spot on. I thought the same thing. This guys response simply does not add up. Apples and oranges.

If they’ll murder infants, what makes anyone think they wont do the same for any one else?

Isn't it strange Libs have no problem showing pics of smokers who've suffered various effects of smoking, but go ballistic when images of aborted (”shredded”) babies are made available to the general public.

I think Libs understand very well that when the average person sees the carnage of an aborted baby, they no longer view this as a “fetus”, they instead see it as a precious human baby discarded like a piece of hamburger down a disposal.

The pictures are very graphic, but if this is what it takes to wake people up to the horror of what abortions really are; let's see the pictures! Pictures don't lie!

1 Cor 13 has a good run-down on what love does — it sure doesn’t go around looking for excuses to hate someone who’s angry at you.

Kendrick a liar? Why of course. He was the passenger in the car. Was that the girlfriend driving? Kendrick needed some jail time.

Attuned you say? Attacked I say. So the guy with the sign is at fault? I didn’t see that one coming.

I didn’t say the guy with the sign was at fault for the entire incident. What I said was he didn’t handle the situation well by attempting to diffuse it.

The guy’s signs were thrown down. Big deal! If he had reacted differently, as a peacemaker showing a bit of empathy for the other guy, the subsequent assault possibly could have been avoided. That doesn’t mean it was all the sign bearer’s fault. It means I think he could have handled it better.

I agree, a missed opportunity to show Christ. We can speculate all we want now on whether it was bogus, but in the love that “believes all things” one takes the grief of a passer-by seriously until one has solid reason to disbelieve it. All it would have cost him would have been a little time.

Kenrick. Enough said.

I sincerely hope this pro-life activist learns the value of jabs, hooks, and crosses.

And a good handgun if those don’t succeed.

Nice sentiment, my view is that the sonuvabitch should be in jail, and there are any number of church ministries who would be happy to visit him and witness to him about the need for Jesus to save his violent, worthless ass.
