Really? No option? You know there was people that told George Washington that too. There was no way a ragtag militia could defeat the greatest army on earth.

Glad you weren’t an advisor to our founding fathers.

I have thought about it. Electing more RINOs will get us more RINOs. The lesser of two evils is still evil. No more.

Actually you’re missing a key piece and that’s enthusiasm. If you win the middle but your base is turned off you will lose the election.

Obama could win the middle and his base could stay home and we’d win. Or Romney could pitch every liberal/moderate idea out there and his base would stay home.

Fight, yes. Vote? Well, again, who do you vote for?

Obviously if you don't like Obamacare then you vote for the guy who says he's going to repeal Obamacare.

Are you some sort of retard?

Rubio’s response will make a fantastic commercial for the Tea Party!

If George Washington was here, he'd either muster troops for another revolution, or seeing the vast tech superiority possessed by the tyrants, find another country to settle.

Most probably, the latter. If anyone here is interested, the most common form of pre-Revolutionary activity in the 18th century was the jailbreak. An armed mob, usually armed with clubs, would go to the jailhouse, overpower the sheriff and/or deputy, and spring somone who was unjustly imprisoned. Often, they got away with it: the sheriff didn't send an armed posse after the sprung man.

How different then from today! I'm sure everyone can guess the outcome if the same tactic was tried in America 2012. As you indicated, the difference is that the governing authorities are much more powerful - much better equipped - now with respect to then.

It was pretty much done before. This is just the coup de grace

I prefer to think of it as necrophilia.

My father chewed me out once when I told him I didn’t feel like voting in a rather dull local election. Dad told me that he and so many others fought to defend our freedom and to preserve the privilege of voting. When I don’t vote, I disrespect my father and all the others who served, particularly, those who died for our country.

Dad has passed on now. I wonder how he would feel about the dictator in the White House, those spineless wimps in Congress and the traitors on the Supreme Court.

Is it enough to “change our government through the institutions our founders so wisely bequeathed to us”, or does change need to be abruptly accelerated by other means?

Is such a thought treasonous?

Obviously it is treasonous. Also childish, egotistical, histrionic, narcissistic, and just plain dumb.

But you knew all that, didn't you?

The Supreme Court knows, the Dems know, we all know that the legislation was writtne to have an individual purchase mandate.

However you slice it, the court just changed that to something they could allow to go through.

Now, having siad that, and thinking about it more...Roberts just provided two things for this election:

1) The base and Tea PArty are going to get energized like never before as opposed to the left getting energized. They think they’ve won, and we know now for sure this thing has to go down through the election.

2) Romney can and must IMMEIDATELY begin using a talking point that not only do we have this horrible health care law that everyone dislikes and knows is going to cost more and provide less good health care, he can also now indicate that is has also morphed into the GREATEST TAX INCREASE IN US HISTORY. He needs to be on that pronto.

Romney can still argue the mandate was unconstitutional because the Court said it is under the Commerce Clause and, if you paid attention, that was his point in the debates.

The Court accepts it as a tax power which is the opposite of what "constitutional law professor" (/s) Obama told the People when it was debated.

I can't help your so full of hatred for Romney that you're willfully blind and deaf to reality.
