Anyone who has health care with an employer just lost it today. Your employer will pay the fine and you will be dumped into the health care pool. Your salary will go up little to none, but your taxes will go up big time to pay for all the deadbeats. The hard working poeple just lost big time! I just hope the unions also are subject to be dumped in the pool with the rest of us!

How did Nancy Pelosi know the ruling? She needs to be investigated. Kagan should never have voted.

OBAMA’S HEALTH-CARE OVERHAUL UPHELD BY U.S. SUPREME COURT

5-4 decisions, with Roberts joining the court’s liberals.

Court says federal government can’t threaten to withhold money from states that don’t fully comply on Medicaid extension

CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS SAYS MANDATE IS NOT A VALID EXERCISE OF CONGRESS’ POWER UNDER COMMERCE CLAUSE AND NECESSARY AND PROPER CLAUSE

HEALTH LAW’S MEDICAID EXPANSION LIMITED BY U.S. SUPREME COURT -RTRS

ROBERTS, JOINED BY TWO JUSTICES, SAYS MEDICAID EXPANSION VIOLATES CONSTITUTION -RTRS

FOUR JUSTICES DISSENT, SAYING THE PATIENT PROTECTION AND AFFORDABLE CARE ACT GOES BEYOND -RTRSCONGRESSIONAL POWERS UNDER CONSTITUTION -RTRS

ScotusBlog conclusion: So the mandate is constitutional

The bottom line: the entire ACA is upheld, with the exception that the federal government’s power to terminate states’ Medicaid funds is narrowly read

The ACA is upheld as a tax, not a penalty

Heh, so it turns out Roberts is the same kind of Democrat faggot as Souter.
Oh well... guess Congress will actually have to do something.

If it is a tax, than the court cannot make a ruling on the Constitutionality of the tax (because of the Anti-Injunction Act) until the tax is actually imposed in 2014.

Since Obamacare is now considered a tax, and if it remains on the books until 2014, I would presume that the issue of a mandated purchase can be re-addressed once someone actually has to pay out any money (as a tax) to forego insurance.

It will be harder to unravel this mess by then, but the court challenges are not over.

Justice Roberts - the new boogieman for the Tea Party. Haha, I can see the signs now.

There’s more to this story (IMO) on why Roberts is voting the way he is........wonder if we’ll ever know what it is.

Meanwhile, if we want this bill repealed, we know what we have to do this November (and leading up to it).

Like all FReepers, I'm dissappointd and disgusted. This Supreme Court ruling opens the door to virtually unlimited power of congress to mandate citizens buy whatever any congress deems necessary. We know this new power will be abused and is the beginning of the end of our freedom. However, at this point, I refuse to succumb to rank cynicism and start loudly declaring that 'America is over'...but I'm getting close.

I also believe that this will doom Obamas re-election in November but I'm hardly sanguine about a 'President Romney' and a Republican congress repealing the monstrosity that is 'Obamacare'. However, I'll still vote Republican and hope for the best while, realistically, expecting much less.

As for John Roberts, I refuse to hate another person but right now, I sure do dislike the man and think he's sold out America with his deciding vote that upheld Obamacare. Shame on him.

Roberts was intimidated and he was looking for a way out. Calling it TAX was his way out and to shield/protect himself. He is a coward by nature and the rats have understood how to cow him.

I’ve got four things to say:

1. I will die before I comply.

2. F*ck you John Roberts, you traitor.

3. Maw and Paw Bush, take your evil seed children and go to Hell.

4. Barack Obama is from Hell.

I’m devastated over this. However, in terms of the election, nothing will galvanize the right and independents like a push for the repeal of this disaster.

I read an article yesterday about a store clerk who was fired from a 7-11 for refusing to take a “food stamp” EBT card for cigarettes.

If Romney does not grab this opportunity and run with it, he is a fool. The people of this country are sick and tired of being taxed to pay for the cigarettes of the unemployed and now their medical care when the dumbasses get lung cancer.

It is time for a national outrage and if this opportunity is not seized, we will be like Italy or Greece in a matter of years.

According to FoxNews Radio, the House has schedule a repeal vote for July 11.

The repeal passed in 2011, it'll pass in 2012 and die in Harry Reid's Senate.

If you're in the market, and your retirement is dependent on your portfolio, you had better get out NOW!

Look for a 20% (minimum) loss (2,500 or more points) over the next 30 days!
