One Republican Congressman, whom I believe they said was from Arizona, just said the same thing I said after this Ruling:
"Today, the Supreme Court awakened a sleeping giant. This changes the Election drastically." This has so angered people and will cause many to realize, this is no small matter. This is no game. We MUST Elect Mitt Romney, and a GOP House and Senate on November 6, 2012 so this ObamaCare Mess, our new Tax the Supremes gave us today, can be repealed and totally dismantled.
I believe this "victory" for the Obama Thug Brigade in the White House, will be short-lived. This will fire up people who were somewhat lackadaisical about this Election. We have to get the Marxist out of the White House.

I’m one the hate Romney crowd (voted for Paul in the primaries) that will now swallow my vomit and donate to Romney’s campaign. I’m sickened that the Supreme Court just gave the federal government unlimited power so as to even allow it to force Americans to buy insurance or pay a fine. Sickening!

I wasn’t going to vote for Romney, pledged against it in fact. I will vote for him now, even though I live in MA and it likely won’t matter electorally. I may even vote for Brown.
A lot of congressmen will use the Supreme Court ruling as cover to not repeal Obamacare at the beginning of the next congress. We need a landslide victory in overwhelming numbers, sweeping conservatives into office nationwide to get it done (and sweeping Boehner and McConnell out of their leadership posts would help).
Conservatives needed to wake up during the Bush years. Roberts was a Bush appointee.
The country is sliding away. It is really too late. Romney is not going to save The Republic.
So..we lost big in the Supreme Court. The answer is elect Romney (obama-lite) and rename obamacare as romneycare and everything will be alright. We had better demand that the GOP give us a leader!!

The Dems are emboldened by this and it wouldn’t surprise me if those in the house change their mind about voting Holder in contempt. You can count on me to vote against Obama, against Romney and against any other liberal you might like. I might reconsider voting against Romney if he expressly repudiates Romneycare and promises to get the federal government completely out of the health care system.

IMHO, Justice Roberts was playing chess. It was a strategic move. Now Obamacare goes back to Congress, budgets originate from the House, Romney has enough fodder to campaign on from now until 2020. Agreed, ANYONE who stays home in November has voted FOR Obamacare.

As appaling as Roberts decision was he may have done us a favor in the long run as this decision could doom obama in November if we, the GOP and Romney play it correctly. I do not think it is too late. Yes, we have Romney, but there is also the Tea Party. Support them so we can get the kind of candidates that will hold RINOS’s feet to the fire!!
I'm wondering if he already has. All the threats before this vote makes me wonder if he didn't “get to” Roberts. This is Roberts’ 2nd anti-constitutional vote this week. Doesn't make sense.
I can’t believe that on two high profile cases, Arizona immigration and Obamacare, that Roberts has gone liberal on us.
Why is it that conservative judges can become liberal, but the liberal judges never become conservative?
This case expands the powers of the federal government. This case will be used as legal precedent for expanding federal powers in other areas, not just healthcare. Count on it.
we need a constitutional amendment that states “the only authorized tax/taxing power is XXXX”
either a flat sales tax or flat income tax...with a fixed rate in the amendment and an section that requires a balanced budget...tie all three branches of government’s hands
kills a lot of birds with one stone...no more of these asinine rulings, no shenanigans with raising the tax rate, etc...
any changes would have to be by constitutional amendment

With this absolutely REDICULOUS decision, the Supreme Court has expanded Federal Governmental Power to unprecidented proportions.
It is now according to this court, completely constitutional for the federal government to force you to buy anything or face a penalty under law.
You can now be forced to buy a gun, buy a lottery ticket, buy a head of lettuce, buy an iPad, buy a new car, buy a trip to borneo regardless of whether you want, need, or even can afford it, or face being “taxed” and potentially thrown in jail.
This decision is unconscionable and indefensible, and defies every concept this nation was founded upon.
NOW THIS IS PERSONAL! It is IMPERATIVE, ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT IN CONGRESS IS THROWN OUT! THIS LAW NEEDS GONE DAY ONE, and IMPEACHMENT PROCEDINGS NEED BEGUN AGAINST MEMBERS OF THIS COURT!

I live in Arizona. Just pulling up to work, I hard one of our local radio personalities, Barry Young, say that the individual mandate was struck down. Elated, I go into work. I tell my fellow conservs at work. Minutes later, I hear that it was actually upheld 6-3. Barry Young should be fired.
That is all.
