People died. It is something to remember during todays historic House vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt. Never before has a sitting attorney general been held in contempt.
With all the hoopla over past scandals from Watergate to Filegate to Pardongate, the cover up was always worse than the crime. Yet, in "Fast and Furious," the guns that the US government supplied to Mexican drug gangs have been used to kill one American border agent and over 300 Mexican citizens and commit numerous other crimes.
To date, because of administration stonewalling, we don't have answers to the most basic questions. Why would the Obama administration give drug gangs guns without trying to trace them? Why not inform Mexican officials about the program so that the Mexicans could try tracing the guns on the Mexican side of the border? Why start pushing untraceable guns to Mexico at the same time that the Obama administration was making their wildly false claim that 90 percent of crime guns in Mexico were from the US? . . . .

Of course, the “White House” is spinning it as just a “partisan political witch hunt”. It isn’t; and Holder’s and Obama’s feet need to be held to the fire - people died in this Fast & Furious thing. - WHAT ARE HOLDER & OBAMA HIDING?
They won’t let you remember.
We all know what they are hiding. We also know that the Media is helping them hide it.
Obama is in this thing up to his “under the radar ears”
I am disturbed in this AM because if I’m not mistaken, !7 Demorats crossed the line and voted with the Repubs. Where is the Cry of the Repubs saying this is a by-partisan decision? They are a bunch of Mamby Pamby’s.
Darrel Issa has not had his leadership helped in anyway by Bonehead or the rest of the wusses up there.
Throw these bums out and keep Patriots like Issa, West, Ross and the likes.
Sheesh, all I remember is Dems walking out of the vote. Not the Repubs screaming they have a By-Partisan vote. Crap they got 3 to cross the line on Obama Care and all the American people heard was we got the bypartisan vote!!!
I am so pissed off!
What is the next step? Is there a next step or is this the slap on the wrist that republicans so love to administer? Will anything further happen to holder?
Somebody help me out here please. OK, the vote has been taken. The House is holding the Atty. Gen. in Contempt of Congress. What next? Where do we go from here?
True. I am sick of the Yacht Club, Country Club Republicans. I am working my ass off to stay above water and these people are making me ill. Good people are not going to take much more of this.
Not sure, but probably back to court and we know how well that works out for the “People”.
Only two Republicans voted no—Reps. Scott Rigell of Virginia and Steven LaTourette of Ohio.
Both these gop need to be removed
Offline yesterday of all days. Back now ping.
Usually it would be a trip to Disneyland but Holder was already there as the vote was tallied.
Trey Gowdys EPIC speech on Holder contempt vote
Amen Mary... we are not going to take it without fighting back.
That is not surprising at all... sickening but not surprising.
the guns that the US government supplied to Mexican drug gangs have been used to kill one American border agent and over 300 Mexican citizens300 Mexicans in Mexico dont matter a hill of beans to American liberals. Let them migrate to the US - with or without visa - tho, and they become hispanics whose rights take precedence over those of native-born Republicans.
Thanks for the ping.
