Mitt Romney's presidential campaign has raised $4.2 million since the Supreme Court ruled the healthcare reform legislation constitutional, his press secretary reported in a tweet on Friday morning.
Romney responded to the ruling by renewing his pledge to repeal the Affordable Care Act known as "Obamacare."
He wrote in a fundraising email to supporters on Thursday: "Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when I’m President, the bad news of Obamacare will be over."
The Supreme Court's ruling was a clear win for President Obama, who counts the healthcare bill as a signature achievement of his first term. But Romney and other Republicans made clear they would not give up the fight to repeal what they call a government takeover of healthcare.
Romney's campaign had raised $2.5 million by 1:33 p.m. Thursday.

Repeal It All
The Supreme Court failed to defend the Constitution and protect citizens from unlimited government, but we will not rest until Obamacare is repealed in full.
Since the day this government takeover was rammed through Congress, the American people have demanded repeal, and today’s ruling doesn’t make Obamacare any less dangerous to our nation’s health.
Obamacare remains as destructive, unsustainable, and unconstitutional as it was the day it was passed. Now as then, our first step toward real health care reform and economic renewal remains Obamacare’s repeal, down to the last letter and punctuation mark.
Congress is incapable of “fixing” such an incredibly flawed bill. It must be repealed.
That is why the Senate Conservatives Fund has launched this national “Repeal It All” pledge to rally support for conservatives candidates who vow to completely repeal President Obama’s health care takeover.
We cannot just elect any Republicans to do this. We’ve seen what happens when we send Republicans to Washington who don’t truly believe in the principles of freedom. They back down, make excuses, and refuse to fight against the big-government agenda.
We must support true conservatives who can be trusted to repeal ObamaCare — all of it.

I’m well aware of Romney’s appointments as governor. Virtually no difference. Pretty sure Romney Care funded abortions, and I’m too tired to take on a Romney shill at the moment.
