This was my only post yesterday (and I would add that the founders were not only willing to do this, they also risked their fortunes and lives had they not been successful):

America was founded when one-third of the population decided to take a stand against tyrannical government.

One-third of the population was willing to shoot their neighbors, friends, and relatives rather than be enslaved by taxation.

We'll never be there, but we have alternatives. IMO, better ones.
