Exactly what this country needs is grenades thrown into the dynamite factory.

DC is a nasty pit of vipers.

No “Get out of Jail Free,” card because you’re a Pol and you don’t want our guys prosecuted.

Actually, I've sometimes thought it might be better to allow such crooks to flee in exile. If they know they can't escape, they'll be more likely to fight until the bitter end (and might always win). On the other hand, if they know that they'll be better off fleeing now than waiting until things get worse, then although they'd escape justice (unfortunate) we could at least be rid of them.

Fox News just reported that DOJ will not prosecute Holder for contempt.

The King’s DOJ won’t prosecute Holder. Shocker!

F & F is turning into a quagmire. If events continue to reveal the true level of corruption and manipulation taking place at the DOJ and in the Administration, I wouldn’t be surprised if Holder committed suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head twice or being unfortunate enough to be on a plane that flies into the side of a mountain. Maybe even both (see Ron Brown).

It certainly is a quagmire and getting worse as more info keeps surfacing against Holder, Obama, and their underlings:

I think you hit the nail on the head. Obama will pardon Holder, and put an end to it, very quickly. Same as Ford did for Nixon. Maybe on Dec 31st.

This break for Congress will find lots of whistle blowers and maybe even a “Deep Throat” coming forth because of this letter getting into the Congressional record. You may have noticed that there is nobody in the media talking about this move by Issa and the subsequent information from Grassley. Most likely because this opened the barn door for a Pulitzer for someone.

This is a far bigger deal since Obama exerted the EP protection ruse. The bowels of Mordor will be very active during the 4th holiday break with the biggest fireworks to commence when they come back into session on the 10th.

It will be interesting to see how Cummings changes his tune since that letter shows him to be a certifiable liar. Cummings will be the next undercarriage rider of the Obama bus. So Rep. Cummings, how’s that Hopey-Changey thing workin’ out for ya?

Obama is in the dragnet because he exerted EP when he knew there was none. Abuse of power and covering up a crime just to start with.

I said that only because I’m not so optimistic these days. And after this gut punch by the SCOTUS I’m having a little pity party right now. Issa has been the one bright spot lately showing at last some modicum of fortitude to fight these bastards. But we need many more like him and I don’t see it happening right now. The GOP is and will remain spineless unless we get a whole lot of Tea Party people elected. Can it be done? Sure, but it will be an uphill battle.

I wonder if Holder and Ron Brown were friends before Brown was assassinated.

When Holder refuses information included in the subpoena, he is preventing the Congress of the United States from carrying out its duty which is described in the Constitution of the United States, namely the three separate, but co-equal branches of government -- Executive, Judicial and Legislative.

To remove any one of these checks and balances could destroy the Republic -- in this case, we become a Police State.

We are a police state.

Just read the headlines. A teenager is watching the Food Channel and Bam, here comes the SWAT Team. Or rather, Boom there goes the stun grenade, followed by the men in black.

A family from Deming, NM has been held in a Las Cruces jail for months. No charges, no bail. They operated a mom and pop gun shop.

I could go on.

Ooops, I forgot my comment!: Here's the verbal exchange between Holder and Chaffetz regarding the above Email which Holder contents is NOT talking about Fast & Furious (yeah right):

Holder told the committee: “That refers to Wide Receiver, not to Fast and Furious. The e-mail that you [Rep. Chaffetz] just read [between Trusty and Weinstein] – now this is important – that email referred to Wide Receiver, it did not refer to Fast and Furious. That has to be noted for the record.” Chaffetz, after a long pause, said, “No, it doesn’t. It says Fast and Furious. ‘Do you think we should have Lanny participate in press when Fast and Furious and Laura’s Tucson case [Wide Receiver] are unsealed?’ It’s specific to Fast and Furious. That is not true, Mr. Attorney General. I’m happy to share it with you.”

Holder similarities from the past, under Clinton.

From Holder tied to OKC bombers

...according to the documentation provided in the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit brought against the Department of Justice by Salt Lake City attorney Jesse Trentadue, the Oklahoma City bombing had aspects of being an FBI sting operation that went out of control.

...Holder had authorized the FBI to provide explosives to Nichols and McVeigh, then lost track of both the explosives and their targets. McVeigh went on to detonate some of the explosives outside the federal building, an act that was designed to help anti-terrorism legislation pass Congress. But an additional case of explosives was unaccounted for

“Oh, I keep thinking of John Mitchell and Stonewalling.”

And so we arrive at the next Nixonian moment in this tragic episode, Plausible Deniablilty to be claimed by Holder.

Anything less than the gallows is a gross miscarriage of justice.

But I'd settle for 30 years in Leavenworth. In General Population, so the prisoners could have a good look at a guy who had it all but dealt it away for offices and power.
