"There's only ever been one goal for Claire. Affordable, accessible health care for Missouri," a spokesman for the senator told the local news outlet.

To do this, the federal government will tax 8% of your income. It will go through that bureaucracy, be handed to another bureaucracy, and then given to yet another bureaucracy which may or may not distribute what little of the remaining funds to doctors and health care workers.

This, it is viewed by liberals, as being 'affordable and accessible.' People with guns taking money, giving it to themselves and their buddies, and MAYBE somewhere along the line handing it to the intended recipients.

To put it in perspective, the average 'family' in the United States just got obligated to spend $2400 on health care a year. That's at least a quarter trillion dollars a year, but only half of the money that's going to be flowing into it as a result of this act. $4,800 a year - this is the food budget that the USDA believes that the average family should have, should they fall below the poverty level.

In what way is it considered 'affordable' to take a family's food budget by force and waive a wand over it and call it health care?

Of course, it's a planned part of this bill that the taxes don't go into effect until AFTER Obama's supposed reelection. This will give the opportunity for the serfs..err, slaves.. err, taxpayers to get used to not having food and having to stand in long lines to visit doctors.

Exactly! That was her biggest betrayal - helping Obama circumvent the eligibility requirement. She loved posing with him during the campaign. Haven’t seen her posing with him lately.

hahahahahaha, RIGHT ON, LET'S ROLL. Question? Since all the penalties that were written into the bill, is now a TAX. Couldn't a case be made that the bill MUST be changed to read TAX instead of penalty/fine?

If the wording must be changed, wouldn't that make the whole bill VOIDABLE at that point. No one can legally EVER change a contract, without all parties consent.

Just trying to find some avenues to get this defeated.

Here's the lying bimbo's M.O. .........

Anytime there is/was an important vote (TARP/obamacare/etc) she would book herself on several talk shows. During the interviews, she would always say in a determined voice something like: "Right now, I'm not sure if I'm on board with this. The administration or Reid has to do 'this or that' or they have to explain why this is good for the people of Missouri, otherwise I'm not for it ...bla...bla...bla...

Then, when the vote was taken she ALWAYS voted for it, with no reservations. After the vote she would hide from her local (Missouri) press and conveintly be too busy to go on new talk shows, especially those local (Missouri) shows.

Then, when the next big bill comes up, there she is on the tube again, saying the same crap over again. And, what's amazing is the Missouri people, papers, TV and radio always buy her $hit.

The Missouri motto: 'The Show Me State' is a bunch of crap. It should be "I'm a Sucker for Claire and obama State'.

The only bumper sticker that would pass the smell test would read: "VOTE FOR CLAIRE...SHE'S SLICKER THAN SNOT".

What are you running from Claire? You should be embracing the law you voted for, after all the left is assuring us the law is popular. Do the right thing Claire, embrace dumbocare with all your heart mind and soul, and then accept your reward for such loyalty.

The house should make the vote on it again. Or at least, make Reid kill it in the senate.

These days the Federale bureaucratic is one huge rip off machine that exists to feather the nests of the drones who work there. Taxpayers are helped only coincidentally. Taxpayers exist to pay the wages for this dead weight that increasingly is dominated by various affirmative action hires such as gays, trans gender, lesbians, blacks, some Hispanics, women (yes they get affirmative action), foreign born peoples of colors

Less that 50% of 0-Care taxes will ever filter down to patients. Numerous Federale klepto-crats will skim a piece of the action ...when they are not too busy surfing for porn

I am reminded of the saying “well butter my butt & call me a biscuit!” Roberts buttered it up & called/ruled it a ‘tax’, even without the word ‘tax’ being present. I don’t think we should look a gift horse in the mouth. A ‘tax’ is much easier to defeat & since it was passed in reconciliation, it can be repealed in reconciliation which means 51 votes, not 60 & the Dems cannot fillibuster. Now we just need to vote in enough Senators to do it & a President to sign it (plus hold the House, of course).

She is finished, every demorat who supported Obumbumcare is finished, any demorat who even thinks about voting against repealing Obumbumcare is finished!

Remember in November, make the 2010 elections look like child's play compared to the ass-kicking the demorats and RINO republican are going to take come November!!!!!!

Pissed off Americans does not even come close to explaining who this Country feels about the expansion of the federal government into every aspect of our lives.

This is exactly what Americans get when they sit on their hands and allow the drip, drip, drip of federal control ranging from standards on our gas cans, to, regulating our back yards through the EPA!!!

This piece of dog$hit McCaskill is just one (1) of many many demorats who need to be put on unemployment without benefits and then charged with treason for selling out the American people to anyone who wants to enter this country an immediately get on federal assistance (our tax dollars) and free free free health care at every Americans expense!!!!!!!

Repeal Obumbumcare, remove from office every, and I mean EVERY demorat who supported, voted for it, and/or blocked the repeal of Obumbumcare, or there will be another American civil war to reign in this federal overreach!!!!!

***The 51-vote threshold for repeal is not an impossibility

Maybe not, but Harry Reid bringing it to a vote, is. ***

What needs to be done to force an up or down floor vote in the Senate?

Elect other people who are less hostile to the USA.
