It`s going to be a long difficult slog straight upward to defeat Obama. American voters, not a bright lot, are impressed by winners... and at the end of every count, Obama, when challenged, always seems to get his way. I was hoping this would be different, given how unpopular Obamacare is.. but I was wrong.

“For the past 2.5 years Obama and the media have claimed people would learn to love Obamacare and that hasn’t happened. Now that is has been declared a tax I don’t see how that makes the public start to love it.”

Bears repeating. Thanks.

“but God WILL sustain His people.”

Most important thing said on FR in a long, long time. Remember Goshen. Even in slavery, the Israelites had food, light, fire, were free from disease, and so on while Egypt was suffering through horrific plagues.

Interesting that McCain was 2 points ahead of Obama as of August 2008, and managed to lose by just under 4.

Point is, while we cannot disregard polls, they are extremely unreliable this far out. In mid-2008, almost every poll at the national or state level had McCain ahead of either Hillary or Obama.

You’d be surprised at how many retired people have already dropped their private insurance with anticipation of ObamaCare. I know two who were republican all their lives. Something about getting old that turns some into selfish leftists.

Wait till the death panels start ruling against their surgical "procedures" due to health care rationing. It will be too late by then for the dumb asses who were too stupid to realize this would happen.

If more people are against Obamacare, how does this make sense??????

Lots of his folks came home (for now). This could be one of two high water marks for Obama, the other being immediately after the convention. Obama is probably good for 47-48% on election day.

For millions of Americans who don’t think well, they see this as low cost government medical insurance and they won’t have to pay a tax since they get the insurance. That will be the message given to them by Obama and they will love it.

Romney says cancel Obamacare and replace it. The operative words are “replace it”. Then it will be Romneycare government insurance.

Hope of dumping it all and it staying dumped - none.
Got water and food stored?

As the grim facts of Obamacare begin to surface, the polls will reflect the alarm.

I am sure the MSM will cover them

He wins there is no chance for the senate
Voters won’t split their tickets

Zero just signed us up for the “biggest tax increase in this country” is going to be an Albatross around the neck of every Dem. in this country who voted it in. May it be so.

How are the sheeple going to find out--Won't kick in till after the election when it will be too late

MSM sure as hell isn't going to be covering anymore than they are Fast and Furious ( the MSM would have forced a GOP impeachment or resignation by now )

>If more people are against Obamacare, how does this make sense??????

The obamacare opponents didn’t change, but a bunch of sheep just thought the flock was going in another direction, and tried to head that way.

This is the risk in the next election. We have an abundance of idiots in this nation. The good news is if we can attach the stink of failure to BO, they will all flock to the Republican to be cool.

Here he is with the worst economy in 50 years, massive debt, Fast & Furious, Obamacare, “Private Sector is doing fine” etc. And he’s at 50%. He’s teflon - thanks to his skin color and the liberal media.

If Obama were a white Repub his approval would be in the low 20s.

If Obama was a GOP the MSM would carry the bad news night after night after night

And if fast and Furious was a GOP president the MSM would had insured he was impeached or had to resign at least a year ago

That is the sad state of affairs since McCarthy was crucified in the 50s

MSM is only one network — watched mostly by the Kool-aid drinkers who wouldn’t recognize the truth if it hit them squarely between the eyes — and wouldn’t vote accordingly if they did. That’s still not most of the people. And yes, word can and will get out prior to election time. TV is a powerful medium, so is radio, so are billboards, email, etc... Not everything is “owned” by the left.
