They know how bad he is but can’t bear the fact some of us aren’t willing to share the blame and will be here to remind them every time Romney runs leftward.

Those refusing to see the truth for what it is will help the Zero get in for 4 more years. I’m not voting for Romney because he’s a conservative, and I couldn’t care less what anyone on FreeRepublic says post-election about him, his actions, etc... because if he leans left no one here will be very surprised - and I’ll likely agree with them. After all, he’s not my personal hero nor would he have been my pick had there been a real choice. (My state went for Santorum in the primary.) They only fool themselves if they think there’s going to be a “gotcha” moment here or anywhere else post-Romney election.

HOWEVER -

Those who refuse to vote for him will be responsible in large for the Zero getting in for 4 more — and there likely won’t be a Free Republic after that. (And I personally would rather have voting for Romney on my conscience than helping the Zero completely destroy what’s left of this country to the point of no return.)(Those who disagree can mock all they like, but history never shows dictators and tyrants to be tolerant of dissent in any form. They ignore history at their peril.)

The truth is Romney can’t win. Best thing you can do with that sort of loser given what is at stake is to dump him ~

"Consequences are the ONLY thing that matter. The consequences of the actions you advocate have only one result: an Obama second term, which will result in the total destruction of the US and our freedoms. "

=======================================================

End justifies the means...blah blah blah.

Hmmm... where have I heard that one before?

I will hold the line.

If the earth is scorched so be it.

I will blame those who abandoned conservatism and embraced a proven liberal out of fear and lack of resolve.

Good luck with that.

Quite obviously not. Your team cites each other to support their misbeliefs about Romney.

It just won't work.

You know, some of you guys were so hateful toward Sarah Palin back in 2008 I'd almost suspect you of having been the Mittbots who tried to turn down her church.

Little did those ol'boys know that Protestants move from church to church with an ease that defies the imagination of those who attend highly structured and legalistic churches where they tell you where to stand, where to sit, and what building to do that in ~ unless you have a high ranking church official's approval.

Yep, the Republican Primary Voters have spoken. We have now transitioned from Primary Season to Reality Season.

Vote Obama, get Obama.

Vote Romney, get Romney.

Throw a hissy fit because the Republican Primary Voters went for the guy that Conservatives didn't support, get Obama. Wow, there really is a third choice after all.

Voters spoken?

ROMNEY CHEATED. In Iowa. In N Carolina.

In NH. In Florida.

Romney is a stinking cheat and not a CONSERVATIVE.
HE CANNOT WIN.

>”Brought to you by the same people who savagely attacked anyone who stood in the way of Mitt St Jesus. in the primary”<

Are you speaking of other FReepers? I have been following this for months and I don't recall anyone here promoting Romney over the Conservative Republicans that were running in the Primaries. Nobody here Voted for Romney in the Primary Election as far as I know, so where do you get this?

Now that the Primaries are over and there are only two choices left in the General Election, I only see people here accepting the Reality of what's ahead.

Please clarify exactly who you are talking about.
Thank you.

I second BlackElk's thoughts, I do NOT drink either parties koolaide. We have seen the damage Snowe, Collins, Graham, Specter, and Romney have done...why in the name of GOD would you vote for any of them? Don't you realize you have to stand before GOD and explain voting for this PRETENDER of Conservatism? Who claims to love this Nation, but does nothing but try and DESTROY IT!

Where are the true Patriots like the Founding Fathers, Nathan Hale, Paul Revere, George Washington, Tom Jefferson, The Adams?

Sure not the ones voting for the RINO, because of ABO Syndrome!

He and Palin were ahead in the polls till then although I wouldn’t put it past Romney to back stab so he could run in 2012 —Just look at the lying ads he used to defeat Newt

I can see it now....If after 8 years of Romney we even have a good ole USA, The Republican Voters have nominated Bloomberg as our 2020 Republican Candidate for President of the United States and you guys will be eating it up and throwing yourselves at him full bore.....It is stunning how you guys are slobbering over Romney like he is some sort of idol of yours. Good Grief he is a horrible candidate who is pretty darn liberal. We seem to be upset with John Roberts who seemed pretty conservative and people praised him up and down and one bad vote latter he is a loser to some here. What on Earth do you believe the reality of Romney is going to be?????? That is the question that really should be asked. IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO KICK ROMNEY TO THE CURB. WE HAVE NOT HAD THE CONVENTION YET. DO IT BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
