Have no idea what you’re talking about re: #1

#2 - please feel free to provide Scriptural evidence for going to hell by voting for someone. Again, not holding my breath. Here’s tip for you, though: Your views do not trump Scripture, no matter how much you want them to do so. Show me where Scripture supports your comments that I will be going to Hell for voting for Romney. Thanks. (Again, I won’t hold my breath).

BTW, I have made no rationalizations for evil, but voluntarily voting in a way that will allow the Zero back in is as great a rationalization for that as I’ve ever seen. Good luck with that.

1. Your "most of us" crap is your gross and unwarranted presumption that you and your dozen or so Romney love slaves constitute a majority here.

2. I am a Roman Catholic. I leave the Scriptural analysis to the popes and the Teaching Magisterium of the Church. I leave the Scripture quoting here to my Reformed siblings and others. I also refuse to argue with those of other faiths here since Free Republic (this will be a real surprise to you and your little platoon of Romney love slaves) is a CONSERVATIVE website where the actual conservatives (that would NOT be you or your ilk) ought to avoid religious doctrinal disputes and work toward an effective political coalition of those (not you or your ilk) who DESERVE to be called conservative. I want never to refer to me and thee in ANY context as "we."

2A. In the Catholic Faith, we are instructed by papal documents. In 1994, Blessed Pope John Paul II promulgated the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church. It is easily available online and I am not going to type the text for the learning disabled such as you. See Sections 2319 and 2320 and 2322 and 2223 and 2270 through 2274. Also, the non-Scriptural Didache 2: 2 of St. Ignatius of Antioch (1st Century AD) as well as Jeremiah 1: 5; Job 10: 8-12; Psalms 22: 10-11; Psalms 139: 15. Material cooperation with abortion (like voting for Myth Romney master abortion-lover is an automatic excommunicating offense for Catholics: called excommunication latae sententiae.

2B. Now, I am well aware that the Roman Catholic Church is not the only church to take a very firm pro-life position such as we do. We are about 25% of the population. The Southern Baptist Convention is about 17% of the population and VERY rooted in Scripture. Missouri Synod Lutherans, Wisconsin Evangelical Synod Lutherans, Westminster Confession Presbyterians, Assemblies of God, Seventh Day Adventists, many Evangelical and Pentecostal congregations, Evangelical Free Church, many other Baptist congregations, Amish, Mennonites and even Bishop Romney's own Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and IIRC Jehovah's Witnesses and even some Congregationalist Churches (rooted in an old Pennsylvania Dutch faith) are quite firmly pro-life. Of course, it appears that Bishop Romney is not a very good or faithful Mormon any more than he is a good American or good conservative or good Republican. That is their problem and yours.

2C. I ask the folks of other faiths whom I have pinged or whom I have not pinged to identify their respective faiths and cite the Scriptures you request as they are probably more talented and practiced than I at citing Scripture. I don't even know whom many of them intend to give their vote in November.
