That was once said about the telephone. There are a lot of evangelists using Facebook to spread the Word Of God in places such as China.

Some things are closer to the Mark of the Beast than others. The telephone isn't really up there in the top slot. Obviously, over the years, electronic things move incrementally toward an enabling technology for Mark of the Beast. You could find more worthwhile things to spend your time defending than Facecrook. So is the Internet as a whole used partially for good work. Does that make the Internet (and gossip texting, sexting, porno over phones, etc, etc.) something that pleases God? I'm going to say no, quite emphatically. On the other hand, commercial shortwave (upper MF and HF) is almost predominantly used for religious broadcasts (I know that's not strictly true, but these tend to be the strongest stations received in North America).

I'm NOT defending Face"crook" I'm defending the truth. And the truth is an email account @facebook.com is something you must sign up for if and that's ONLY if you have a Facebook account which I do.

My contact list is just fine because I know how to use privacy controls and I never use my primary, personal email address to sign up for anything. Anybody who does not do that... well I would prefer to call it the Mark Of Idiocy.

Unfortunately foe us all, Satan is MUCH bigger than you are trying to lead some to believe.

Sadly those stations on shortwave are diminishing. Not just the Christian ones but all of them. I still hear the numbers stations (AKA spy channels). Many of the Christian channels are cutting back on all of their programming and even doing away with entire non-English broadcasting to third world nations.

HCJB, which once broadcasted around the world from Quito, Ecuador has closed down all together. That was a very important station regionally as many in remote areas of South America depended on HCJB not only for it ministry but also for the news. Unfortunately it's one of the few regions in the world where internet connection is always available. Especially for the people who still climb trees with darts in jungle thongs. It took them decades to learn how to turn a radio on I doubt they will be surfing the web anytime soon.

Shortwave radio is dying. I know this because I am a DXer. I'm not even sure WYFR still retransmits it programming to China via VOFC in Taipei. Hopefully they do. We're in a new world now and we must use it for the good of the world.
