The problem is that the only people with the standing to sue him are the very people who have fallen for his lies. Until they become disillusioned, nothing will happen.
I was initially hopeful, but after months of hype but no independent confirmation, I lost interest.

I have seen nothing but conjecture that would lead me to doubt Rossi. The way I see it, he successfully developed a reactor that would produce hot water for heating (low temp). His real goal was to produce electricity (steam, high temp). He partnered with a major American company and now has units operating at high temp capable of producing steam for electricity.
It sounds like to me, (opinion) that the partners looked at his work and said, we can fix your high temp problems, let's go directly for the units that produce electricity, why wait.
All this looks VERY promising. Rossi wants to give cheap, almost FREE energy to the world. For him it isn't just about the money. He's a true believer. No white plastic sheets for Greenland, but something that will actually work.
All the nay sayers (snakes?) just try to run him down with no evidence. Rossi just keeps plodding along, making history. He WILL have the last laugh.

If you're referring to National Instruments, they have released several emails making it clear that Rossi was lying about their involvement. They specifically stated that they never had a contract to do any work for Rossi and that they never worked on a controller for him.
I'm not aware of any other company that has stepped forward to admit working with Rossi. All we have are Rossi's claims on his blog.
