Black House Members Force Congress to Vote on Reprimand for Issa
June 29, 2012 | Posted by Nick Chiles

A day after House Republicans voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, the members of the Congressional Black Caucus got their revenge by forcing the House today to vote on a resolution scolding California Rep. Darrell Issa, the engineer behind the contempt vote, for mistreatment of Holder and behavior that they claim was against House rules.

**SNIP**

Rep. Barbara Lee of Texas decided to take the response a step further today by putting forth a “privileged resolution” that picked apart Issa’s handling of the Holder case through his House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

**SNIP**

Lee requested that the House clerk read her entire resolution out loud so that she could get it on the House record. Among the accusations in the resolution are that Issa: “jeopardized an ongoing criminal investigation by publicly releasing documents that his own staff has admitted were under court seal”; that he took steps that could “potentially jeopardize a criminal conviction”; that he “has engaged in a witch hunt, through the use of repeated incorrect and uncorroborated statements in the committee’s ‘Fast and Furious’ investigation”; and that he “has chosen to call the Attorney General of the United States a liar on national television without corroborating evidence and has exhibited unprofessional behavior.”

Republicans were able to table the resolution by a vote of 259 to 161. Issa had no response. But Lee got what she wanted: to show House Republicans that two could play the political shame game.

All that Sheila Jackson Lummox proved is that she still thinks she’s a queen, and that she is really still an idiot.

Did ALL the blacks vote against Issa?

Just all the Democrat blacks, or did they have a token black at least abstain to create the semblance of a non-racial attack?

Dims are usually very interested in these type of racial statistics.

All the Dems have to do is stall for less than six months.
The finding of contempt is only good during the 112th Congress. This term ends January 3, 2013, 17 days before the end of the presidential term to which Barack Obama was elected. Then the contempt citation disappears. Both sides know it.
But that’s OK. The 112th wasn’t worth a damn anyway, like Obama. And the Supreme Court.
In fact, our whole system of government is broken.

This morning, I was waiting in line at the grocery store help desk behind a black guy who was trying to return something he had not actually purchased. He ranted at the clerk, threatening to take her job because of her “racial profiling.” It was embarrassing to see a grown man carrying on that way, claiming on one hand that he knew people in high places and pleading on the other hand that he needed the $5 “refund” to buy gas to get home.

If the Pubs had a spine they would pass a resolution declaring the Congressional Black Caucus a racist organization & demand its abolition.

A few years ago we were all Americans. Then republicans and democrats. Next conservatives and liberals. Last week the black caucus went tribal. Welcome to the 17th century. This is very serious and it’s a game changer. The first shot of a civil war was just fired. See it for what it is. That move went beyond words.

I love it when the Dems say that they are the party that looks like America. Yeah, the part of America that is driving this country down.

Either way, it is sloppy journalism.

So then, let the thirteen percent declare general racial war against those of the other eighty seven percent.

Tribalism is fine but it is necessary sometimes to do the math. Not that a minority can’t seize & hold power over a hostile majority, it’s been done throughout history & is still being done in some parts of the Third World.

The numbers are indeed a factor, though. Numbers of guns in the hands of the majority, for example.

That U.N. treaty against `small arms trafficking’ which is simply Fast & Furious on a grander global scale, and is being pushed by the current regime, is an example of a minority making war upon an armed majority. The intent is the same.

Didn’t Jesse Jackson rant, following the 1992 L.A. riots, “We must disarm the violent majority!!”? The `armed majority’ in that case consisted of gun wielding Korean store owners defending their businesses from the empowered entitlement community.

“Guns are wealth. Ammo is riches.”

“”Or does he mean Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas?””

That was my question also so I’m glad I read to the end of the thread. I’ve seen this mistake by other supposed reporters. Regardless - both Lees are equally obnoxious....

Pass a resolution declaring the Black Caucus a racist
organization and forbid it the use of any congressional
facility for its meetings.
Also refuse to recognize it as a legitimate organization.

Barbara Lee, playing the lead in the ghetto baffoon scene as usual. They are like something nasty you see walking with handcuffs on the news out of Chicago.

The CBC has to stage twice the usual threatening racist thug act since Issa lowered the boom on both conning Cummings and lying Holder.

It will never get better for as long as Republicans bow down to the race card masters. For one thing, someone should challenge the Congress still nursing segregated racist committees. Those nasty days are supposed to be over. Black racist power structures have no more place in modern America than does White racism.

So when does the Congressional Caucasian Caucus reprimand the CBC?
