Well, I used to have a soft spot for “Sheriff Taylor”, but after the Obamacare debacle was passed with Andy Griffith leading the cheering for it, I saw a different person.

Griffith was a total communist and hated this country. He was a bitter resentful person as Libs usually are.

He was wasting air that someone else deserved.

I won’t miss him in the least.

From everything I have read about him he treated his fans like total shiiiiite when asking for autographs etc...he was not the kind, old gentleman that was portrayed on screen.

It’s funny...everybody says the Sheriff Taylor character was so sweet and kindly. I guess that’s so. But I could never get past the look on Griffith’s face, and the expression in his eyes. He always looked shifty and downright mean to me. That affable smile looked sort of like a shark’s grin. He always creeped me out.

That said, condolences to his loved ones, and I hope he found Christ before he died.

The role that fits his real persona was the lead in ‘A Face in the Crowd’.

Yep and he portrayed a Right Wing Wacko in his movie A Face in the Crowd to much acclaim by the left

Don’t forget that Griffith was big time in the tank for obamadoesn’tCare. He did many many advertisements for the
nightmare that has been forced on us regular people of “Mayberry”.

Rodney Dillard of the Dillards band (the “Darlings” of the Griffith Show fame) put out an album “I Wish Life Was Like Mayberry”. The album points out, rather poignantly how far the small town person and caring and values have disappeared. Those people are “fly over” country for the Statists, you know.

How ironic Griffith carried water for obama and the liberal Statist agenda— which would never allow small town values, religion, and morals to enter into the discussion of the limits of Statist government.

He was a great entertainer, regardless of politics. I refuse to grave dance or wish ill of the departed simply because of their politics.

So, if they did a remake of "Mayberry," who would play the leading roles?

Barney Frank as Sheriff Andy Taylor?
Joe Biden as Barney Fife?
Hillary Clinton as Aunt Bea?
