California Continues Pushing Societal Decay (Any no. of adults could qualify as a child's parents)

Just to make sure people know California continues to lead the nation toward 21st Century societal collapse, the Sacramento Bee reports on the push by a San Francisco Democrat to amend state law presently limiting households to two parents.

Senator Mark Leno, a leader in the effort to legalize gay marriage, contends his measure, which now heads to the State Assembly, would allow a judge to determine which of any number of adults could qualify as a child's parents. Present law limits a judge's choice to two adults, but that could soon end.

SB 1476 resulted from an appellate court case last year involving a child's biological mother, her same-sex partner, and a man who had an affair with the biological mother and impregnated her while she was separated temporarily from her female lover. According to the article:

"Surrogate births, same-sex parenthood and assisted reproduction are changing society by creating new possibilities for nontraditional households and relationships.

Benjamin Lopez, legislative analyst for the Traditional Values Coalition, blasted Leno's bill as a new attempt to "revamp, redefine and muddy the waters" of family structure by a leader in the drive to legalize gay marriage.

"It comes as no surprise that he would try to say that a child has more than two parents - that's absurd," said Lopez, whose group calls itself a leading voice for Bible-based values.

Under Leno's bill, if three or more people who acted as parents could not agree on custody, visitation and child support, a judge could split those things up among them."

They must be proud to know that everyone else believes they are a bunch of fools of the first order.

For that matter, why limit marriage to humans?
Sounds like species discrimination to me.

Unless your values emanate from an authority higher than you, how can they bind you?

The new sin of Secular Fundamentalism is Getting Bad Vibes —feeling bad. When gays see stable families, that reminds them they’re different. They get Bad Vibes, and that’s a sin.

They want to so utterly freakify families that later it will be IMPOSSIBLE for them to feel different.

There will be NO sense of what a family is, because there will be nothing a family CANNOT be —it will be ANYTHING, apparently.

If we allow that, do you think it will end there? No. For purpose, they must feel push-back SOMEWHERE, so it makes sense to keep moving the goal-line FOREVER.

They will never stop, so we should stop thinking we can mollify their sense of victimhood —it is a GIVEN.

Conservatives need to go on offense.

Let's push for 'intra-family' marriage. Then we WE can 'marry' our parents - add them to our insurance - and stick the bill to liberals. (Liberals don't like their parents so this WON'T benefit them....) If they don't like it, we'll say it's like the civil rights movement - slamming two liberals groups at the same time..

Who's right is it to define love, right?
