In one of the uglier MSM smears of the presidential campaign to date, MSNBC's Richard Wolffe has tried to tie Mitt Romney with one of America's most reviled men: John Edwards.
Appearing on Al Sharpton's MSNBC show this afternoon, Wolffe somehow suggested that Romney's decision to invest overseas and legally trim his federal tax bill was akin to Edwards reprehensible behavior. According to Wolffe, there is a "moral question" hanging over Romney, just as there was regarding Edwards.

An organization such as MSNBC would have to change their name to Communist Advocacy Propaganda Group Totally At The Beck And Call Of The Democrat Party.
So a guy who grew up in Indonesia eating dog meat, with communist parents, then spending 20 years in Rev Wright’s church, while palling around with Bill Ayers - is trying make Romney the “other.”
The problem with us conservatives is we vet for total purity. When the race first started Newt was totally not an option until he was the only guy standing against Mitt. Everyone was split (Bachman, Palin, Perry, Cain etc.)on who was the most pure.Like it or not Romney is left standing. Vote for him, vote for Obama, vote for someone else or don't vote for anyone. Those are your options. Romney is the GOP nominee.
I despise Mitt and am only going to vote for him because he beats the alternative, but comparing him to Shiny Pony is beyond ludicrous.

When Senator John Kerry met with Edwards to tell him he would be his vice presidential nominee, Edwards explained his reasons for being in public office, and it was something he’d never told another human being: it was Wade’s death. Tears welled in Edwards’s eyes as he told Kerry how he’d climbed on to his dead son’s coffin and cried.
Kerry was disturbed, not by the image of Edwards clambering on his dead son’s coffin, but by the claim Edwards had never shared the story with anyone before — Kerry had heard the same story from Edwards two years earlier.
