[to] invest in the things that have always made our economy grow: innovation, research, development,

You never see a photo of Biden from the side because the light coming out of his ear canal ruins the shot.

If government spending led to job creation and growth, we would be in the greatest boom of all time.

I can’t decide whether he’s a simple minded moron, or if he has onset dimentia. Either way, he’s far surpassed the peter principle.

Joe, after 236 years, why has that ceased to be true???

Answer, because Lefists like you sabotage the economy when free marketers are in power. You are numbered with the evil, Joe.

Biden is a moron.

All wealth is created by the private sector.

Government’s job is to provide the rule of law, secure our borders and secure our trade routes so that the private sector can operate successfully.

This is satire, right? Please tell me this is satire. Biden can’t be this stupid and have gotten to where he is. It isn’t possible, is it? If so, my black lab is quite literally smarter than he is. At least she can be trained, learns from mistakes and negative feedback.

The pathetic thing is Joe Biden, his staff, the DNC, the media and everyone involved in putting out this message knows it is a lie. They know they are lying, or doing their part in promoting the lie... but they must get the message out to the masses of idiot voters they depend on.

Joe knows from personal experience how wealth is created -

Through extortion, graft, influence peddling and theft.

"That guy’s mind operates at a 5th-grade level...."

I was thinking just about the same thing.

"...as he suggested that government spending and increased taxes on the wealthy would provide long-term economic strength."

They are teaching this stuff to our students now. This is the one of the biggest reasons I fear for this country. They are drilling it into our kids that being wealthy is morally wrong and wealthy people are evil and only government can save the day.

invest in the things that have always made our economy grow: innovation, research, development,

When this country actually made stuff it wasn't because the government "invested" in some new fangled technology. It was because their was a demand and somebody with the initiative and innovation stepped in to meet that demand. The one exception to that might be, and this is a really big might, defense and space exploration. Even there industry is producing a product to fill the need of the government who is acting as a consumer.

What we get when the government screws with the demand curve is things like the housing bubble. Coerce banks into making bad loans which artificially drives up demand. That worked out really well, didn't it.

>It would be great if democRATs/socialists/liberals would take just one economics course. That way when they say something this stupid...oh, never mind.

Nah, they would just find some Keynesian to teach it and no good would be accomplished.
