On Our Independence Day....Remember

I watch this video quite often. When you watch it, look at all the New Yorkers response to this attack.

Funny, not ha ha funny, but that strange funny how they all seem to forget what happened.

These same New Yorkers, who live in the city, were against those of us down there protesting the 9/11 mosque.

What the heck is wrong? I know satan and it's demons were sent to earth, but it seems as if they have taken over.

So much happening, all at once, all evil. Has the time come? Are we witnessing the last of days?

I have been so upset lately. It seems the "rockets" have been hitting one after another.

Today is Independence Day. For me, it feels more like dependence day.

Sorry to be such a debbie downer but I do not feel like celebrating. Instead I want to fight. I want to fight hard. If I die doing so, so be it.

The DHS has already put me on their "domestic terrorist" list. FU.

I am an American and will die an American.

Its always good to hear from you NoGrayZone.

How do you know they have put you on their list? Do they have that up on the Internet?

Its because of Women like you (Sarah Palin et al) that we still have a chance to secure our countries future.

Sadly I believe because of John "Roger Taney" Roberts we may have to do so with less than 50 states.

It’s on Drudge. “Homeland Security Report Lists ‘Liberty Lovers’ As Terrorists”.

I would bet my bottom dollar every one of us, here on FR, is on that list.

I could live with less than 50 states....unless of course we run them bastards out of our country. I’d prefer that method.

If they want communism, socialism, etc, they can move the hell out.

We’ve got a mooslimb usurper in the White Hut....not good. Not good at all.

When “it” suspends the November election, due to martial law, all heck will break loose.

I really have no doubt at this moment it will happen. He cannot stand to lose this election, knowing damn well he will.

He, “it” is pure evil. We are in for some serious times.

It truly is. I always try to find some kind of silver lining, but at this point, I can’t.

I’m surprised our founding fathers haven’t come up from their graves to reprimand us!

Okay, I thought they had YOU, specifically. Although I have never heard of the group Liberty lovers. If DHS hates them they may be worth checking out.

I don't think Ubama will suspend the election in November, not after his Democrat allies selected the perfect graceful loser to take the fall for the Repub's not winning.

He knows he is safe against Romney, to me the spark will be if and when the states can stand up and start refusing to collect Federal Taxes. That will be the deciding moment, and with Conservatives taking over House legislators, the likelihood of that is increasing.

And Honestly, that is they way the founders would have wanted it, to have our local governments stand up and say "NO!"

Oh my. If they had me, I wouldn’t be posting. I’d be in a park, “Forsterized”......or dead in my back yard by one of barrys drones!

The dems seem to be dropping like flies away from barry. How many, thus far, will not be attending the commie convention, nor endorsing barry.

The future does not bode well for him and I think he knows it. Which of course, does not bode well for us.

Throwing out a proposal to get some opinions from people that I respect: those of you on FR.

As usual, I am flying my American Flag on this anniversary of our nation’s independence, as I do on other similar days during the year.

I have mixed emotions about Labor Day coming up, primarily because the leftists have used organized labor to steal our freedoms.

I PROPOSE THIS FOR LABOR DAY: Fly black flags on Labor Day, not to slight good hard-working Americans, but to protest and highlight the Leftist Politicians’ corrupt, deceitful and larcenous use of organized labor to implement their anti-American, anti-freedom agenda.

Comments please.

A kind of SOS. We're in a heap of trouble, we all know it. If there was ANY time an SOS is needed, the time is now.

Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence?
Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died.
Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.

Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured.
Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.
They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.

What kind of men were they?
Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists. Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation owners: men of means, well educated. But they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.

Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts and died in rags.
Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward.

Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton. At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr. noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.

Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months. John Hart was driven from his wife’s bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning to find his wife dead and his children vanished. A few weeks later he died from exhaustion and a broken heart. Norris and Livingston suffered similar fates.

Such were the stories and sacrifices of the American Revolution. These were not wild-eyed, rabble-rousing ruffians. They were soft-spoken men of means and education. They had security, but they valued liberty more. Standing tall and straight, and unwavering, they pledged: “For the support of the declaration, with firm reliance on the protection of the divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other, our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.”

They gave you and me a free and independent America. The history books told you a lot of what happened in the Revolutionary War. We didn’t fight just the British. We were British subjects at that time and we fought our own government!
Some of us take these liberties so much for granted, but we shouldn’t. So take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and silently thank these patriots. It’s not much to ask for the price they paid.

Remember: Freedom is never free! I hope you show your support by sharing this with as many people as you can. It’s time we get the word out that Patriotism is NOT a sin, and the Fourth of July has more to it than beer, picnics, and baseball games.

We need to get the government afraid of us. Unfortunately Jefferson’s first statement is where we are at now.

We need this to be big, widespread. I do know it is the SOS signal, but remember the controversy about the use of the word “niggardly” a few years ago. Needs to be simple and straightforward so even the uninformed followers of the left will understand. My guess is, they would characterize an upside-down flag as disrespectful, which is the polar opposite.

I have my very large flag on the front lawn. Thank you for the post.

Our problem is that we no longer create people with courage and honor—people who were willing to sacrifice all because we have so many who are lazy, stupid and dependents of the government. They no longer want to work for anything, and everything they have has been given to them.

Must keep praying.

Personally, I don't give a flying pig about their use of the word.

ALL American citizens, who believe in our country would understand the symbolic use of flying the flag upside down, especially if we ALL did it.
