Well, I know that many Romans were gay, so I guess I know that about history. Jews and Christians were marginalized, but I suppose that is not what they are looking for.

As an employer, this course would be of no use to me on any applicant for a job. I suppose it makes it so you can be a burger flipper, though.
UW Platteville was originally a mining college. It was in the middle of a big lead mining area.
The particulars of the kind of person they want encapsulates everything that is wrong with this country. If it were in my power, I would fire every person who was involved in creating this piece of work...including the head of the university.

Like in the ‘old days’ when a Senior Officer was retiring, one of his last duties was to write out a job description, especially if the job was going to be filled by a civilian.
When writing the job spec, he would be sure to include something that specifically applied to him.
So COL So&so would retire Fri eve and come to work as a GS50 the following Monday as MR So&so.
Course they can’t do that anymore, but the pols really streamlined that process so as when they retire or get run out of office they come back the following day as a lobbyist for some of the last legislature they pushed.
I am still amazed at Lugar when ‘they’ said he had lived in Northern Virginia the last 10 or so years and the only time he returned to IN was to campaign.

How about the marginalization of those who refuse to tow
the liberal line? That is pretty historic.
While this one is pretty blatant, many of the history professorships announced in recent years have some kind of diversity code language written into them. And you are correct, conservatives need not apply. What is really sad is that it is rampant at state schools in very conservative states. No state legislatures or governors have the balls to clean out academia, or even make nominal attempts to restore fairness in hiring.
