Three out of 10 specialist units will stop performing heart surgery on children following an NHS review which decided resources were spread too thinly. The Royal Brompton in Chelsea, west London, Leeds General Infirmary and Glenfield Hospital in Leicester will not stop providing surgery immediately as plans to implement the new streamlined service are still being developed. Once they stop providing surgery, probably after 2013, the units will still see patients for diagnosis, monitoring and non-surgical treatment. What’s the problem here? Just send the poor kids to the United States for the world’s best pediatric care.

They will start killing the newborns born with a congenital problem before the parents even see them. They probably do this already. My step-daughter wouldn’t have had a chance (heart chamber). Obstetric wards will have their own in-department death panels.
The review recommended that surgery be concentrated in a few specialist centres in order to ensure quality of care.
Apparently the hospital’s pediatric unit has had some issues in the past and they decide to close down the hospital’s pediatric cardiology surgery.
If they are killing that many kids it might be for the best.
It’s pretty clear what the trend is regardless of 7 or 70 hospitals at the moment.

Well, who could have seen THIS coming.
People have become too fat, stupid and lazy to fake effectively.
The televisions will never stop broadcasting though.
Death panels always cite high minded and noble reasons for their decisions .... high minded and noble is in the eye of the death panel not necessarily the eye of the patient.
And if they do read past the misleading title, I wonder how long the waiting list will be to get your child that surgery now.

Scrooge wasn’t the only one who said it - so did Margaret Sanger, G.B. Shaw, John Holdren, BHO et al, Soros and his anti-America New World Order collaborators - and they’re REAL.
Time is running out fast.
Death by deliberate government policy and an unsustainable economic model, itself a product of government. Government is the problem, not the solution. Wake up!
Some time ago, in preparation for a general election, I heard a Conservative British politician telling the voters how much better the Conservatives would run the National Health System than then Liberals were doing. This is sad and pitiful in light of the above story. However, American conservatives are no better when they argue how much better they would manage the public school system.
The answer in both cases is to get government out of the job or running these functions except for (possibly) setting standards of outcomes.
I am afraid that unless ObamaCare is quickly repealed, in 10 years the Republicans will be reduced to telling voters how much better they would run the local Death Panel than those inefficient Democrats are.
