Two years after Al and Tipper Gore announced their separation, both have found love.
The Washington Post’s Reliable Source blog first announced that the former presidential candidate was involved with environmental activist and philanthropist Elizabeth Keadle.
Now, it seems that Tipper, too, has met a special someone – the former editor-in-chief of National Georgraphic, Bill Allen.
Mrs Gore, 63, and Mr Allen, apparently have known each other for years, both sharing a deep interest for photography, and have been seen out together at dinner parties in Washington.
A source told People that the two are very comfortable together. ‘Life feels very simple and solid and happy for Tipper,’ the source said. ‘She and Bill have a really nice rapport.’
People notes that the Gores have no immediate plans to file for divorce; the estranged couple are both very active in the lives of their children and grandchildren and have recently taken them on vacation.
Mr Allen, 71, was at the helm of National Geographic for a decade, and retired in 2004 after working 35 years at the magazine.
Under his direction, National Geographic won many awards for its stunning photographs, as well as recognition from the American Society of Magazine Editors.
Ms Keadle, who hails from southern California, is in her 50s, and travelled to Antarctica with Mr Gore at the beginning of the year to raise awareness about climate change and global warming, according to the Post.

I'm going to get comments from dog lovers over this ... but this was my first impression when I saw the picture the next day. *
* I didn't have a strong enough stomach to watch Bonehead give his spiel ... rather, I did something more enjoyable and productive ... I helped clean out a septic tank.
What they realized, after all this time, is the only ones who would put up with each others crap was........each other.
Last we saw Tipper she had just fininshed eating Cleveland.
Being escorted to functions and having a companion like relationship with a friend is not especially a love affair.
I see no evidence that they have a sexual or even love affair.
The Media makes its own decisions about such things and runs with it because it sells papers.

There is just something disturbing about this man. Anybody remember that picture of he and Horndog Bill playing ball? One of their campaign pics, showing that they were “just average guys”. Gore’s jeans are about 4 sizes too small. Double YUCK!

In the kissing pictures I have seen of this couple, it appeared to me that Tipper was reacting to Algores bad breath.
