If Barack Obama has an immediate eligibility problem, it is more likely to derive from the Social Security Number he has been using for the last 25 years than from his birth certificate.
Ohio private investigator Susan Daniels has seen to that. On Monday, July 2, she filed suit in Geauga County (Ohio) Common Pleas Court demanding that Jon Husted, Ohio secretary of state, remove Obama’s name from the ballot until Obama can prove the validity of his Social Security Number.
Daniels, who has vetted thousands of Social Security Numbers for numerous other clients, has done her homework. In her filing, she thoroughly documents her contention “that Barack Obama has repeatedly, consistently, and with intent misrepresented himself by using a fraudulently obtained Social Security Number.”
To acquire appropriate standing in court, Daniels has gone to the trouble of establishing herself as a valid write-in candidate for president. Before she is through, this 70-something mother of seven, who has been a licensed Ohio PI since 1995, may cause Obama more trouble than the Romney campaign.
Daniels started her investigation in August 2009. Given her profession, she has been able to access a variety of proprietary databases. What she learned without much trouble is that Obama has been using a Social Security Number with the prefix “042″ since 1986.
As she discovered, the “042″ number is reserved for the exclusive use of individuals who register in Connecticut. When she ran 10 sequential numbers before and after Obama’s, all returned with the documentation “issued 1977-1979 in CT.”
When Daniels ran the numbers immediately flanking Obama’s, she came to the firm conviction that Obama’s number was issued in March 1977 in Connecticut.

Research E-Verify and see what that says about Social Security Numbers that don’t match the user and the ability to work in the US.
Because using a fraudulent SS# is fraud and that number belonged to someone else. He used that number to obtain DL’s and probably to obtain loans, etc. Just guessing as that might be relevant reason.

Read the next sentence. It says that a fraudulent SSN is a violation of both the Federal and State Constitutions, which would preclude FUBO from running again.

His draft registration card has a date that appears to have been forged.
And his SS card was issued in March or April of 1977 in a state he’d never been to.

How exactly does a fraudulent SS#, in and of itself, render a candidate under the US Constitution? Which clause spells this out?
I think it far more likely the plaintiff believes it should make a candidate ineligible, and I might even agree with her. But I really doubt the US Constitution has anything at all to say about SS#s with regard to eligibility. In fact, the Constitution has nothing at all to say about whether convicted felons are eligible to be elected president.

You are correct. The phrase "social security number" does not appear in the text of the US Constitution.

I worked as a claims rep for Social Security for a year and a half.
It is true that Social Security numbers, the first three digits did tell where you lived when you applied for a number. We had a chart which showed each number and where they originated.
At one time the middle two were always even except for 1-10. I think so many were issued that they changed that some time ago.
The last four were simply random.

The Constitution does not say, for instance, that convicted mass murderers or traitors are ineligible for the presidency, on the possibly inaccurate assumption that the voters would never elect such a person.
As it is, AFAIK, Charles Manson is eligible for the office. Can’t vote, in most states, but I think he could be elected president, as far as the Constitution is concerned, anyway. He might be ineligible to be on the ballot in some states. Although a TX incarcerated felon was on the Dem primary in WV and got a bunch of votes.
Better off than we are now. But the thing that’s most important is winning the Senate. We need to start focusing on that.

I’m not expressing myself very clearly, and I apologize for that.
Many Americans, mostly but not exclusively on the left, react to anything they think is wrong or inappropriate by deciding it is therefore unconstitutional.
The problem with this notion is that our Constitution is, by purpose, a quite limited document. It has little or nothing to say about most issues. It was not intended to be a “fundamental law” replacing the details of the common law. It was by intent basically a rule book for how decisions would be made by the people’s reps, not a definition of what those decisions would be.
The Constitution says nothing about abortion, so leftists succeeded in getting the Court to go into mystical mode and find abortion to be a constitution right, as outlined in the previously unsuspected penumbras and emanations visible only to themselves. Similar approaches have taken entire aspects of potential legislation off the table by making them constitutional issues.
This is bad news, for our government and for the Constitution. Trying to make it do everything just means it can’t do what it was set up to do, provide that framework within which the people make decisiions. Instead, all decision will be made by unelected, lifetime tenure judges, as they are the only ones who can interpret the Constitution.
If that’s what you want, try to get judges to find some contortion by which misuse of a SS# makes a candidate for president ineligible for the office. You won’t find any such judge of course, but if you did it would be another nail in the coffin of the real Constitution..

We've had four years now, and AFAIK not one of the 50 states has made proof of eligibility a prerequisite for being on its presidential ballot. All we needed was one state, and we couldn't come up with that.
Can you expound on this? What is the significance of A,B,C, etc.
Sigh. 38 comments and not a single one skeptical (that I could find, anyway.) Check snopes.com and you’ll get a quite rational explanation for why Obama could have ended up with a SS number that looks like it was intended for Connecticut.
Short version: Since the early 70’s, Zip Codes have been used and yes, the first 3 numbers identified the state, but all it would take is mistyping, or misreading, or just sloppily writing, the first number of Obama’s zip code, which is something like 98164, and inputting (for any one of the 3 reasons cited above) 08164, and out would pop a Connecticut SS number.
Now, that might not have happened, but, geez, people should at least consider the possibility, especially when the source is WND. This is very likely tin-foil hat material.
Incidentally, Snopes also addresses the dead guy who’s number Obama supposedly had pilfered on his behalf. Let’s beat the guy with stuff he’s really done, or attempted. There’s certainly plenty of legitimate material out there.
I assume this means he’s also here illegally. Look for an executive order pardon for all illegal immigrants born the same year as him and citizenship will be retro-active.
Also, look for an executive order making EVERYONE eligible to run for president...retro-active, of course. He could do this and the republicans would strongly object and may even write a letter or two.
