Mitt Romneys wife says her husband is thinking about picking a woman to be on his ticket this fall.
Ann Romney says in an interview, Weve been looking at that and I love that option as well.
She tells CBS News she thinks the person selected for the No. 2 spot should be someone that obviously can do the job but will be able to carry through with some of the other responsibilities.

good grief
Hillary!
“Hillary”
...my thought exactly. And it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
Palin? Bachman?
Martinez would be fabulous!
Sadly, I anticipate a dull, Establishment pick for Veep.
/s
Romney is too gutless to pick Nikki Haley unfourtunately....
Ann Romney?
Condoliza Rice.
I could care less what the GOP VP nominee’s gender or race is... PUHLEASE just give us a CONSERVATIVE!!
now that’s funny!
So Romney’s advisers say one thing, Mrs. Romney says another.....wonder if Romney has figured out what to say yet.
Olympia Snowe.
Yeah, he looks pretty good in a dress....
It will be a woman and it should be Sarah Palin. What kind of losing crap is it that would name an ayotte? a panderin’ martinez? a Bush lite condi rice [after roberts the traitor?]
a nikki haley moderate type and inexperienced? How about an army of Palin supporters along with the breitbart division, or does romney want to lose to a commie usurper.
“choice will be a mulatto lesbian whose spiritual journey commenced with Judaism, to Zoarastianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Shintoism, Hindi and finally settling on Paganism.”
You forgot to mention the required “handicap”; can’t leave that one out.
LOL! I almost spit Mt. Dew on my keyboard.....Although it would be good to see a South Carolinian in that spot I don’t think I could stand Grahamnesty that close to the Presidency. (I think an empty chair could out debate Biden so that’s not a qualification)
“Don’t worry, the choice will be a mulatto lesbian whose spiritual journey commenced with Judaism, to Zoarastianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Shintoism, Hindi and finally settling on Paganism. After all this is 2012 A.D. in a dead culture.”
Romney couldn’t really pick Barak 0bama to be his running mate could he?
I agree, and the lib nit-pickers be damned. She's the only one who can make a Romney team look good. Last time around, Obama was an unknown. People now know Palin is right and Obama is wrong, and Romney is wishy-washy and gutless.
Not even if Hell itself freezes over.
Bachman?
Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Sorry! Age has caused deterioration in my memory. IT will be among the wheelchair bound “mentally challenged”(Idiot!)Thank you for bringing the omission to my attention.
Why not ! Little “Ole” things like Constitutions, Statutes and case law are meaningless in 2012 A.D. America.
ROFLOL!!!!
So who do you suggest?
It’s Pawlenty or Portman.
Period...finished...through.
Now that’s funny!
Whoa...
Start back with Ann Romney’s quote.
He’s thinking about picking a woman.
Of course he is thinking about it.
He’s thinking about picking a lot of people who won’t be picked.
I knew a long time ago women will be on his VP list.
That does not equal a woman being selected.
politically correct???? good grief!!!!
IMO, zero chance of that. The reason is simple. She would outpresident the President in the first week. An ideal VP is one that is silent and invisible. The VP must not be a divisive, polarizing, smart, active person - especially when the President himself is none of that.
Romney is also trying to pander to all sides. Palin is not likely to do that. She would be a liability to Romney's platform of flexible centrism. Romney's VP has to change her opinions as often as Romney himself does.
Most likely Romney will pick a colorless RINO who will be grateful for the offer and will say, without questions, whatever is given to her.
could be the republicans are just screwin’ with the dims
It really doesn't matter what one says with today's MSM; they just make up stuff.
............the choice will be a mulatto lesbian whose spiritual journey commenced with Judaism, to Zoarastianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Shintoism, Hindi and finally settling on Paganism. ................
Sounds like Kagan or Sotomayor should be on the short list.
No way and No way. Martinez would be an excellent choice, though.
What female Republican in her right mind would sign up for the Sarah Palin treatment - this time on steroids? Because what the media did to Sarah will look like a mere warmup to what they’ll do to Romney’s running mate.
or Michelle Bachmann would be great...tax lawyer and all
Mrs Romney is performing her first task as “First Lady”.
She is intentionally leading us astray, trying to keep the press and the public from homing in on the real target that Romney has in mind. The intent is to get people talking about somebody other than the person who is really going to get the nomination. McCain had his “surprise moment” at the 2008 convention, and Romney is trying to get some of that same kind of thunder.
good grief
Good grief is right....Disappointed by this bit of bad news ...is Romney’s campaign is looking for a fast and sure way to loose this election? The ONLY woman who could win, sadly to say, is Hillary. Palin is really hated by way too many people...a nominee would have to be nuts to even consider this....and I LIKE Palin. The liberals would have a feast that boggles the imagination.
LOL - Psyops, American style - I LIKE IT! :)
Nope more likely Condi.
Not”Gramnesty”???????????????????????????
According to Fox News Romney is down to four...
Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.
Yes, apparently Portman.
Last time I “eyed” a woman I was accused of sexual harassment. (You think I’m kidding.)
Condie already said no. Given that Romney would be Pres, can you blame her?
Romney is gonna make us sick, sigh... I sure miss Reagan.
First laugh of the day!
