Bad behavior at Cleveland Pride Weekend mars celebration of respect and inclusion for all

(On June 23) Cleveland celebrated Pride Weekend. This event is held each June in celebration of the Stonewall Riots of 1969 which is often revered as the beginning of the LGBTQ civil rights movement. Amongst the celebration and awareness-raising was an unfortunate event which speaks directly to why such events are still necessary and full equality has not yet arrived.

The AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland was abandoned by their float driver the morning of the parade when he learned he was participating in the Cleveland Pride Parade, forcing the organization to scramble on the day of a large-scale public event. The driver was employed to make a delivery, yet his biased judgments prevented him from delivering the service for which he contracted. In this day and age, this is completely unacceptable. How can we move forward as a society when behavior such as this is permitted?

As we have all learned in the recent past, teens that are not prepared for such poison all too often commit suicide because they see no acceptance in their community or hope for change.

It’s time for our community to send the message to these young people that there is hope and they are loved and accepted through action rather than words alone.

You either have to suck up to the homosexual lobby, the vegan meat-is-murder-and-so-is-leather lobby, the legalize-dope-and-outlaw-tobacco-and-alcohol lobby, the ban-all-SUVs lobby or else you are a criminal and deserve to be cast into a re-eduction camp just like in Communist countries.

What, so they couldn't be upfront and honest with the driver as to what service they really wanted? I'll bet the float was really tacky and the driver would have a prominent position (npi). Can't blame him for running away.

Note that the acronym and “pride” festivals are exclusive of “breeders”.

Rather than a “tolerance” event, it’s a “look at me” series of orgies and excess.

I’m sorry but if you don’t want to do a job, any job, you don’t have to. You may get fired, you may end up in a breach of contract suit. You do not need to do any job at threat of gunpoint.

I refuse to believe that this driver signed a personal services contract for something as trivial as driving a float.

I’m so sick of these groups claiming everything is a violation of this, that, they’re being persecuted etc. Then talking about morality being shoved down their throat, forced in the closet etc. Whatever. I just want to know if they’re so offended by morality do they just inherently know what they’re doing is immoral?

It's actually called "Breach of Contract".
Who cares what he thinks or or feels or what they think or anyone else thinks or who views what about whatever.
There's a contract for him to do ABC and apparently he couldn't or wouldn't fulfill the contract and who cares why.
The courts or Judge Judy will determine and assess damages and/or punitive penalties.
That's why we have contract law..

So if you ever looked at someone of the same sex and felt anything (affection, friendship, approval, any sort of connection) you are "Questioning". Which in their parlance means that you are homosexual just not out of the closet yet.

The "N" could be for something like "None of the above", "Normal", "Natural", "None of your business", and so on.

And with that statement, you firmly hit the nail squarely upon its head.

It's not enough that the "other 97%" of the country tolerate, even accept, homosexuality. We must "celebrate" it, like it's worthy of a national holiday.

It's not enough that our school system teaches a version of history where every general's minority cook singlehandedly turned the tide of history. We now must (by law, in CA) teach a gay-centric version of history, where gays, and people who might possibly have been gay, and historical figures that are no longer alive to defend themselves and so can now be portrayed as gay ... turned the tide of history, as well.

We now have an MSM who castigates heterosexual sex crimes at length, while quietly kicking any homosexual sex crimes under the rug. Want to read a (especially national) newspaper and know if the crime was committed by a hetero- or a homosexual? If the article publishes the age and sex of the victim, the crime is hetero- related. If the gender of the victim is conspicuously left out, the crime was perpetrated by someone of the same sex.

So, you are absolutely right. "Celebrate", indeed.

Heres how you stop this.

Before a gay pride parade event is planned in your area Get a representative to go to every church and faith group and get an agreement that they will join the parade event.

Network with like groups/churches in your state. This all takes a few phone calls and little time. Zero cost.

Contact a Christian legal group and establish a professional relationship. Get them ready to rock if they are needed.

When the permit process takes place, descend enmasse on the town/city board and demand to be inclined in this inclusive under threat of lawsuit.

If denied entry in a public parade or event, call in the Lawdogs and actively protest the board members who denied you.

Make as much noise as humanly possible on the net, radio shows and TV local/cable ect.

In each interview declare that if tolerance and coexistance are the goal, why are they being discriminated against? NEVER go off this message. EVER. Ignore all other questions or route them back to the discrimination being practiced under color of authority.

Lastly, NEVER let them set the stage or direct the story.

This whole thing requires minimal time and almost no cash. Just determination. And for the faithful, it is very much about their freedom.
