"Mom, you're embarrassing me!"
Well-known liberal actor Brad Pitt, who once famously declared that he would not marry his partner Angelina Jolie until gay couples had the same rights, might be a little upset with his moms decision to speak out on her political and social beliefs this week.
In a letter to the Springfield News-Leader Pitts mother Jane Pitt voiced her support for Mitt Romney, a man who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality.

LOL!!! Never thought of it that way but I think you nailed it.
I don’t denigrate them at all ,Brad Pitt does when he refuses to marry their mother, or maybe you have another name for kids who are born out of wedlock.
Like Barrack Obama and Bill Clinton.
He left her?
Wow... how’s this old mattress going to find a new boyfriend?
She’ll have to comb her hair and have a bath... she always looks like a dirty slob
.....maybe you have another name for kids who are born out of wedlock......
The time tested tried and true is Bastard
I wish Dick Cheney and his wife had followed Pitt’s mom in this respect. Like many parents of gay kids, they care more about appeasing their gay children than following the morality of the Bible, a book for which many an Englishman was burned at the stake.
“I think any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon.”
She’s obviously a good conservative and cannot and should not be bashed. But as to the argument, it breaks down once you get to the “high morals” part. The business part is so-so, since it’s not exactly like he was running a business from the ground up. It then breaks down for sure on the abortion and homosexual part. Mitt Romney is a known liar, and is known to be on both sides of the abortion and homosexual marriage issue.
It does seem that there is a real effort to present Shiloh as a "boy in a girl's body" for some ideological reason. It doesn't seem to be just the ordinary situation of child's choosing clothes that are comfortable for running and climbing, or picking up whatever clothes are around, but a campaign that has to involve the parents.
A certain amount of youthful gender-mixup happens in families. My friend had a little boy after three girls, and he wanted to be a girl so he could be in Girl Scouts. His mom painted a t-shirt that said, "Troop 123's Little Brother," and he was happy. My Pat, who has poodle curls and had his hair up to 8" long (although you couldn't tell except when it was wet) used to talk about "When I was a girl ..." by which he meant before his hair was cut.
My girls will take a t-shirt their brothers don't want or have outgrown. So do I, for that matter. I think Elen, Sally, and I all currently have Bill's or Tom's old shirts. "Battleship North Carolina" can be for whomever it fits.
(ba da bing.)
Was thinking the same thing....will they ever grant them visiting rights?????lol
The little commie needs to be embarrassed. I haven't liked him since that twit he used to date publicly embarrassed George Bush's daughter - thinking it was soooo funny. Sleazy, out of touch, phony, hollyweirds. Evidently Pitt has a good heart because he builds houses for the poor (well I dont believe all poor-just black poor if I'm not mistaken). Brad, mama knows best, listen to her, boy.
From what I understand, it was the children who wanted their parents to get married.
What a MAN.
And such a wonderful actor... /s
“probably why Tim Robbins left her.”
Nah, Tim’s just as much a loony liberal as she was. But if you are liberal doesn’t mean you can stand to be around those who think like you do. Could you imagine looking at that face and body day after day and hearing the vile things coming out of that mouth?
It’s enough to turn a strong man’s stomach.
Brad “though she was born a long long time ago, your mother should know”
Nice Beatles reference. LOL
Christians and Libertarians alike, so she must be right.</sarcasm>
I should care about either Pitt or his mom’s opinion’s why exactly?
You shouldn't. You should only concern yourself with proper apostrophe usage for the time being.
Oh, well. Mr. Pitt will now have to choose between disowning the woman who raised and gave birth to him or get blacklisted in Hollywood. Cry me a river, Brad.
