CANBERRA, Australia (AP) -- Increasingly common experiences with extreme climate-related events such as the Colorado wildfires, a record warm spring and preseason hurricanes have convinced many Americans climate change is a reality, the head of a U.S. scientific agency said Friday.

Many Americans had previously seen climate change as a "nebulous concept" removed from them in time and geography, said National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration chief Jane Lubchenco.

The world's climate has always changed.

The “man-made” seems to be implied by these media hacks.

Man causes volcano's to erupt, man controls earth axis tilt, man causes solar flares, man causing the ocean current to shift, man causes tectonic plate shifts, Victims cause bad guys to get violent, women dress codes cause rapes, poverty causes people to steal, voting democrat causes senility ok so they get one right.

Of course, all who believe in science believe in climate change. It is always changing. This world is ‘winding down like a clock.’
It is the MAN-MADE element of climate change that should be the debate and to what (if any) effect man has on the climate. Pouring billions of dollars into decreasing the impact of mankind on the climate is a big hole - with virtually no beneficial results.

The climate changes daily with the seasons. If it did not cool down every evening (coinciding with the disappearance of the big fireball in the sky), the temperatures would more than double from morning to midnight...

And the seasons can experience periodic fluctuations of “average”, above “normal”, and below “normal” rainfall annually.

It’s a power grab (and for some like Pope Al Gore, a money grab).

Hmmm, is this an indicator of Global Warming? Considering this was a description of the US East Coast Heat Wave of 1896, it probably predates the global fossil fuel usage.
