No there is screening a military trial, but only one pre-emptive challenge for each side. Good luck getting a military judge to rule that any juror who didn't know someone personally who was killed or wounded, or was there, is not qualified. The Panel is to be picked from the same command as the accused. A decent short explanation of a General Court Martial is at http://usmilitary.about.com/od/justicelawlegislation/l/aacmartial2.htm
BTW, I was at Ft. Hood that day. Actually I was eating off post, but then returned and got locked in until about 8PM. Also I later, had two surgeries in the same hospital many of Hassan’s victims were taken to, including the lady civilan DoD cop who was the first to shoot at the perp, and ended up shot herself. I had the same in hospital physical therapist as she did.

He's a jihadist Muslim. That should go a long way to showing he's insane.
The ACLU trained/Islamic attorney said he wanted only dead people— or slaves of Allah to be found accepted as jury in this case.
No,that would irrefutably prove that he's utterly amoral.I'm talking about schizophrenia...major brain damage...etc.
You say to-may-to, I say to-mah-to. :)
