French police lose power to detain illegal immigrants

France’s highest court has ruled that the country’s police can no longer arrest and detain illegal immigrants unless they are suspected of having committed a criminal offence.
Illegal immigrants in France can no longer be held in police custody simply for not having residency papers, the country’s highest court ruled on Thursday.
Until now, police could detain “sans-papiers” [“without papers”, the French term for illegal aliens] even if they had not committed a crime.

Offtopic-—but need to vent.
CBS-News did a segment on the millions of working class families owing college loans-—this family owed $80,000 which will entail them paying $1000 a month til the end of time, what with interest, etc.
The kicker was CBS reporter “Elena (Quiano) Mexicano” was doing the story—— probably an illegal who was educated, housed, and fed on the backs of the working class-—and now-—after sucking off the working class——she takes a high-paid media job away from an American.
These people’s sense of entitlement is nauseating.
CBS needs to hear our outrage.
