Finland Would Rather Exit Euro Than Pay for Others
Finland would rather leave the euro zone than pay down the debt of other countries in the currency bloc, Finnish Finance Minister Jutta Urpilainen said in a newspaper interview Friday.
"Finland is committed to being a member of the euro zone, and we think that the euro is useful for Finland," Urpilainen told financial daily Kauppalehti, adding though that "Finland will not hang itself to the euro at any cost and we are prepared for all scenarios."
"Collective responsibility for other countries' debt, economics and risks; this is not what we should be prepared for," she added.

This just shows how hypocritical socialists are.
Even socialists have a limit. Ask them to pay for the whole world instead of just their countrymen and they cry uncle.
But none of them have any problem asking - through the UN and it's Democrat enablers - - the US to redistribute taxpayer money to every third world toilet in Africa.
You have to work til age 67 to pay for others who retire at 50
Saw this coming. The Euro currency is going to die. The European nation will fall soon after. Mark these words.
The last time ECB wanted euros from Finland they wanted gold as collateral for the loan.
Well that’s greedy and racist of them.
They should happily pay for starving poor people in the Eurozone.
I would love to see the Euro break apart. An abject example of the cost of socialist spending.
Nah. Nothing doing. Not with people like Olli Rehn in the mix (from Finland and currently “Commissioner for economic and monetary affairs and the euro”yup, that’s his title). Not to mention that Finland’s current prime minister is a European People’s Party drone.
The only thing that’s making the euro “suffer” is the Stability and Growth Pact.

"Just like normal.
"Those who are asking for money, make a line on the left.
"Those who are fed up of giving it, on the right.
"Anyone who has a solution, raise their hand.
"And everyone will have a coffee at 5pm."
The only thing they are capable of.:-)
thought the euro was headed for doom years ago. You don’t have to be a sophisto economist to realize Europe is economically fragmented. It’s Pollyanish
to believe these countries could cooperate economically.
Travelling through Europe is like jumping from one indentured culture to another. The hard core socialists have been nothing but a drain on the few prospering counties.
For similar reasons, the US should withdraw completely from the United Nations. The US funds about 20-25% of the UN, which consists of over 160 countries, and spends hundreds of billions in taxpayers’ dollars “giving” to poorer countries where their corrupt leaders syphon off the money.
Ah, but the UN imprimatur is what sanctions our military Empire. Imagine the hit the defense industry would take if we weren’t a member.
What do you expect when you join a collective?
On a recent trip we ran into two Danish girls. They were on a round the world gap year trip. As we spoke they made fun of America and emphasized the goodness of Denmark in granting them a free education. They really emphasized free and dumped on America a little more.
Both of them were getting degrees in the soft sciences with one wanting to be a grade school teacher. We asked them how they could afford a year long round the world trip. Did they work in Denmark to save up? No, they said. They worked in Norway. The taxes in Denmark are too high and you cannot make any money there.
They never got the irony of it all.
All non-Moslem Americams will be taxed
to payoff the EU and Communist debts.
Get Ayers on it immediately.
Interesting. The hippies of the ‘60s tried forming their own communes, but they broke down quickly for the same reasons it always does - too many want to profit from other’s sweat. Normally, the bigger the socialist entity, the longer it can hold on; I wonder if Finland would profit or lose if it “secedes”. I wonder of the EU has a Lincoln who will take umbrage at someone who tries to secede...
