Its time to send Tim Murray packing, Deval

Will somebody please, please put Lt. Gov. Tim Murray out of our misery?
Tiny Tim is a lost soul, the abandoned puppy of Massachusetts politics, neutered but not de-wormed (as shown by his relationship with Mike McLaughlin).
Surely someone can find him a new home, preferably in the country. Gov. Deval Patrick, this means you.
Tiny Tim doesnt need anything big. I pulled his bar-exam records at the office of the clerk of the SJC, Suffolk County. Like most of Crash Murrays curriculum vitae, its below average: Took the bar exam July 1994. Took the bar exam February 1995. Took the bar exam July 1995 and finally passed!
No surprise. Remember January 2007, when he was being sworn in by future felon Sal DiMasi. DiMasi says, Raise your right hand, and up goes Murrays southpaw.
At heart, Tiny Tim is still what he used to be a city councilor. Something can always be arranged for these ham-and-eggers. Look at the state rep from Worcester, Vinny Pedone. A sheep in sheeps clothing. He got some kind of job with state colleges excuse me, universities. Anyway, hes making about $130,000, more than the lieutenant governor.
Charlie Murphy, another rep, from Burlington, ended up on the wrong side of the last speakers fight. He just quit to take a new job. Ditto Sen. Steve Baddour, and Rep. Jim Vallee, and some guy from Holyoke who just got hired by the gas company. Theyre dropping like flies up there.
Governor, surely you could arrange some sort of Jim Brett-type job for him. He could go on NECN every Sunday morning and talk with Paul Guzzi about bicycle lanes. Forgotten but not gone.
Have you seen Murray lately? He looks hunted, and I think its Mike McLaughlin hes sweating. Let me tell you, I would hate for Mike McLaughlin to have something on me, especially if he was jammed up with a grand jury, which he is.
One thing about McLaughlin, he has always been an astute judge of weakness, and he surely knew what he had on the line the first time he hooked the mayor of Worcester.
Most people figure now thats why Tiny Tim was doing 108 mph. in the Crown Vic at 5:20 a.m. in Sterling last November. He was scared. He still is.
Two reasons to move Murray out right now. No. 1, Barack Obama could lose. No. 2, he could win.
If Barack loses, theres a new U.S. attorney in January, a Republican. Deval Patrick is said to want to run for president in 2016. Murray has already testified under oath in the McLaughlin matter. Do I have to draw you a diagram?
No. 2, Barack wins, and (more likely) Deval decides this is his big opportunity to grab some serious Vernon Jordan money steam control, as Tom Wolfe put it. Deval resigns and, well, remember acting governor Jane Swift?
I know, Tiny Tim has some awesome responsibilities. Hes poised to become leader of the, drumroll please, National Lieutenant Governors Association. Just this week, he made his first visit ever to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. ending years of disappointment in which he was inexplicably passed over for a trip to the annual Easter Egg Hunt on the White House lawn.
Hell go, Deval. Just promise Tiny Tim another trip to the White House next Easter. He may not believe you, but just give him a note from the Easter Bunny and hes gone.
This one’s another masterpiece.
I literally laughed out loud.
DEMOCRAT state rep arrested on assault charges....what a surprise.
thanks will check out
All:Ernie Borgnine won’t be down for breakfast,dead at 95.
But as you know the death pool freezes until another is done—prob this week—so whoever had him is out of luck.
(Name to win death pool was Andy Griffith)

Ernie Borgnine has been getting picked for years...Howie should bend the rules and award the prize.
I'm sorry to hear about Andy Griffith as well, although those commercials he did for ObamaCare really annoyed me.
RIP, Ernie and Andy...
That’s 2.....should be one more going soon. It always happens in 3s.
As far as Andy goes, he’ll be voting RAT come November...
Well, now. That's one way to get him out of New England.
OTOH, he is certainly a lot more presentable than the present recumbent, even if equally and shallowly worthless. At least he is clearly is some sort of an American. Tell me again how he got to be Governor?
My theory was that it was because he looked like the "Old Family Retainer" type guy on the Uncle Ben's Box. But, I am open to any scientific explanation. BTW, we don't know a damn thing about Tim Murray around here. From what you folks say he does sound like a man who knows enough to do exactly as he is told.
Death pool today at 4

Shazamm, shazamm, shazamm...
Gilda Radner passed on, but at one point in an interview or maybe it was in her book It’s Always Something she said :”I didn’t want to be a comedian with a catch phrase, like Marty Allen who always used to say ‘hello dere’”

Dems rule: Tax as I say, not as I pay

Try not to let this destroy your faith in the integrity of the Mass. Democratic Party, but it appears that we have another elected tax deadbeat on our hands.
I refer of course to Rep. Carlos Tony Henriquez (D-Dorchester). The 35-year-old is charged with assault and domestic kidnapping of his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend Sunday morning. And you thought it was the Republicans who were waging a war on women.
But now it turns out that the solons drivers license is non-renewable because he owes a 2011 City of Boston excise tax bill. Maybe thats what he was discussing with U.S. Senate candidate Granny Warren on City Hall Plaza on the Fourth of July.
Granny, too, was an excise-tax scofflaw in Cambridge until the Herald called her out on it.
But this nonpayment of taxes is endemic in the Democrat Party. They want YOU to pay higher taxes, but for themselves ... not so much.
Henriquezs lawyer is one Stephanie Soriano-Mills. In an amazing coincidence, Soriano-Mills just happens to be the daughter-in-law of ex-Sen. Dianne Wilkerson. You may know Wilkerson better as 21757-038, which is her Bureau of Prisons number.
Until March 2014 shes doing a bit for bribery, but her first federal rap was for failure to file income tax returns. Shes at the federal prison in Danbury, which once housed another state senator from Roxbury, Royal Bolling Sr.
His crime? You guessed it income tax evasion.
Its a small world when youre cheating on your taxes. Rep. Johnny Pockets Tierneys wife just did a month in prison last year aiding and abetting the filing for false tax returns for her brother.
House Speaker Good Time Charlie Flaherty, the first of the three speaker felons in a row felony tax evasion.
Then of course there was the Big Kahuna of Massachusetts tax cheats U.S. Sen. John Liveshot Kerry. Remember his new $7 million yacht, which he registered in Newport in a failed attempt to beat the $437,500 state sales tax, not to mention the $70,000 annual excise tax in the town of Nantucket?
All of these people have D after their name. It stands for Democrat ... and deadbeat.
Then theres Rep. David Linsky of Natick. Hes on YouTube, telling the people of Ohio not to trust Mitt Romney because he raised the tax burden on each family, $1,200 per person.
Well, not exactly on everybody. Not on David Linsky, because he didnt bother to file any income tax returns in 2002 and 2003 until he was called out by the Herald. (Notice a trend here?)
Same thing with Rep. Ben Swan of Springfield. He was busted by this newspaper for not filing income tax returns in 2003. Later, he paid his property taxes after his local newspaper told him he was delinquent.
Now you know why Tony Henriquez is described as an up-and-coming rep. Hes like all the rest of them at the State House.
McScreamer on for Howie tomorrow as he heads down to the Cape for Masters of Suspense
Fri column ping. Howie off today, doing Masters of Suspense on the Cape—McScreamer in
They dont make em like Capone anymore
By Howie Carr | Friday, July 13, 2012 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Columnists
Heres how things have changed in organized crime.
Back during the Depression, Al Capone was the welfare system in Chicago. He ran his own soup kitchens.
Now, the gangsters themselves are on welfare.
We have all these busts this week, and what have we learned from the gang of Juan White Boy Guzman? For one thing, theyre not just a crime family, theyre a welfare family.
White Boys future mother-in-law shes on Social Security (more likely SSI or SSDI) and lives in a subsidized apartment. Think Sect. 8. According to her lawyer, she does try to get housecleaning jobs from time to time. Ill bet. When was the last time she filed quarterly estimated tax statements?
Providence has always been mobbed up. Raymond Patriarca operated out of the National Cigarette Service Company on Federal Hill. His successor, Baby Shanks, had a Laundromat.
This larger drug gang that was mixed up with White Boy their Providence contact ran the Mango Bar & Grill. And the boss wasnt some guy named Raymond or Luigi either. The Mangos proprietor was one Thevenyn Nova.
In a gang where at least one of the members was a once-deported illegal alien pardon me, new American you will be shocked to know that multiple drivers licenses were the norm.
From the 97-page DEA affidavit on the larger gang:
Chala bears no resemblance to the RMV photograph (on his license) ... In addition to the name BONILLA, agents were also able to locate two additional MA drivers licenses with Chalas photograph, under the names Erich Diaz and Jonathan C. Parilla, both of which have criminal records related to drug trafficking.
Try not to let this destroy your faith in the security measures of the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
In the new gangs, discipline isnt quite what it used to be. On June 12, a fellow named Kelmyn Mejia leaves the lovely city of Lawrence on his way to Providence with an alleged 130 grams of heroin in the car. The old-timers might have had a crash car travelling behind the drug vehicle, to ram any cop car that tried to pull over the mule.
None of that for Mejia. He gets out of I-495 by himself and guns the car up to 80 mph. Blue lights appear, the rest of memorialized in the DEA affidavit.
The Mafia bosses used to talk about the old country. Now, the new Americans talk about making a pickup in Costa Rica, only they call it the land where the pineapples and yuccas are.
One thing thats no different? The new crowds texts are just as illiterate as everybodys else. Heres Toribio looking for some people:
Heyyy Kathy wassup I need to get in contact with Onassi or mike if u have any of there numbers please.
You wanna know wassup, Toribio? You have the right to remain silent ...

I want to know what percentage of gang bangers collect Social Security Disability... I was in a Social Security Office some years back - in Florida of all places - and well over half the folks waiting were young blacks in their twenties and thirties - many looked like gang members... signing up for 'disability'.
When scammers break the system, the people who really are disabled will die. This is wrong.
In the culture of Ricky Ricardo, one has a plethora of names. José Gomez, could be one. But then, en español one also uses the mother's name, García, so jore name be José Gomez y García. Write that on your welfare app, and the clerk goes for García, it being your "last" name. A the next office, you fill out the app with Gomez. That's two. But waith there's more. José's madre is Not Mrs. Gomez. She is her maiden name La Señora Vila de Gomez. She gets three sets of documentos. Under "Vila," "de Gomez (which in gringo fashion starts with 'd') and just plain Gomez. Now if a certain branch of one's family is a bit more illustrious or wealthier than another, why you are free to appropriate their handles into your own, so José could be a 'de Vila," a Vila de Gomez, etc. ad inf. ... or a Cervantes, for all the welfare clerk knows.
In no time at all, one has 10-12 identities all properly papered. SS Checks go out every month to many a post office box throughout the Spanish-soeaking world to many of these identities. Sweet!
Being undocumented ... being illegal, has many advantages. You can start with a new identity as necessary. It's not a family tree ... more like really heavy underbrush. The only way to catch it is to catch the illegal in flagrante ... that way who the heck he or she is doesn't much matter. However, once released on bail, or even OR, they disappear into another identity.
It's so bad in LA that the cops don't even bother with traffic stops for speeding, stop signs, green lights ... takes too long and then the perps take a powder.
The multiple identity thing has also come in very handy in elections. A Latino illegal alien is not a person; more like a cottage industry.
