“Legalize Love”?

You mean like man-boy love? Women-girl? Man and dog?

Glad I use Bing and Windows Phone.

Well... I’ve defended Google on many things over the years.
I never cared much what their homepage graphics did or didn’t depict.

But this is a bridge too far.

Considering their ENORMOUS global power, they ought to stay neutral. I am surprised that they would take such a decisive stance for what amounts to at best 2 % of the population. And “LEGALIZE LOVE” : OK, gotcha. In other words, all those who are against, would love to have “love” become illegal the globe over. We are “Haters”. Gotcha.

Beat me to it. The term "google" will never have the same meaning and I find I can conduct internet searches just fine wihtout them.

Legalize Love?

While they're on the alliteration kick, let me also suggest:

Sanction Sodomy
Codify Carpet Munching
Permit Perversion
Decree Debauchery

Good alternatives to Google:

Yahoo!

http://www.yahoo.com/

http://cm.my.yahoo.com/

http://images.search.yahoo.com/

Advantages: Good quality, tailorable page (My Yahoo), with lots of options. Good image search.

Devilfinder:

http://www.devilfinder.com/

http://images.devilfinder.com/

Advantages: Not tracked, no cookies, no search data kept on users. Good image search with a safe search option.

Factbites:

http://www.factbites.com/

Advantages: Good for data search, as it eliminates vast amounts of web fluff pages. Searches are not listed by popularity, but by quality of data.

Yippy (despite the name, good for complicated searches)

http://search.yippy.com/

Advantages: In addition to the primary search, it opens a left frame that orders major subject areas of a complex search, to help you narrow down what you are looking for.

Dogpile:

http://www.dogpile.com/

A search engine aggregator that only posts universal results found on several other search engines, eliminating advertised sites moved to the head of one of them, as well as other fluff.

“Legalize love?” Are they playing stupid just to get under our skin, or are they actually that stupid? Declining to recognize a particular partnership as a “marriage” is NOT the same as wanting to outlaw that partnership and any like it, and certainly not the same as outlawing “love.” The debate over the legal definition of marriage has NOTHING to do with love, sex, or anything citizens may consent to do with each other in their private lives. You cannot objectively define an emotion and enforce it as the term of a legal contract involving tax money.

And just to be annoyingly predictable: if marriage is nothing but a validation of people’s love for each other, does that mean love between more than two people isn’t realize love? Otherwise, anyone who opposes marriage licenses for more than two partners, even while advocating same-sex marriage, is as guilty as any of trying to “illegalize love.”

You are 100% correct in all you say. But, see, you are thinking reasonably, and basic logic is hard to refute. So buzzwords and catchphrases and bumpersticker slogans such as “Legalize Love” will simply drown pesky people like you out. ;) Of course MANY people who support one man/one woman traditional marriage feel it is fine to legalize civil unions. But this Google slogan makes short work of that, huh? Even National Organization for Marriage, which supports Civil Unions, was deemed officially a HATE group. Orwellian Newspeak is clever. Quite clever.

Right, and what is so silly about this is the implication that somehow LOVE is globally “illegal” until this campaign is successful. If they were honest, they would know that NO form of “love” has been deemed illegal anywhere. Even sodomy is now legal in the US and elsewhere - if it can in fact be linked to “love” at all.

Were they honest, they would call it “LEGALIZE SAME SEX MARRIAGE CAMPAIGN” and be done with it.

Yahoo is Bing. Every search you send to Yahoo is served by Bing (this was a very public deal some years ago - look it up).

Dogpile is a joke. They index a tiny fraction of the web, and their relevance (quality of their search results) sucks.

The only real alternative to Google is Bing. Google is the 800 pound gorilla in this space. If you want an alternative to Google to stay around, I highly recommend that you use Bing.

"No more Google for me, switching to Bing. It is the only search engine I know of that does not use Google on the back end."

Keep in mind that we also need to Boycott Bing as it is owned by Microsoft.

Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer and co-founder Bill Gates have each donated $100,000 to the campaign supporting Washington's new gay marriage law, which faces a referendum vote in November.

A backdoor way of marginalizing the role of Faith in family, and also criminalizing Faith-based morality. It’s important people understand the sinister attack being waged primarily against Christianity.

The govt should not be defining marriage. Sorry, statists, but this a great example of how the Christian photographer whom refuses to service a homosexual ceremony will be charged, and prosecuted under the guise of state religion. And it’s already happened.

All true. But you forget, those who live to hate Google and Apple, and who shill for Microsoft, are not moved by facts that run counter to their loyalty to Redmond. They're just as bad as the Apple fanboys, etc. all of whom give me a headache.

Just as Apple fanatics are incapable of seeing anything Apple does as flawed, Microsoft fanatics refuse to admit that the object of their adoration is actually just as supportive of liberal and gay/LGBT issues as Google or Apple. So their righteousness at Google or whomever else is not about facts. It's about fanboy loyalty. They're SO glad to find another excuse to trash the other side. It's so boring...

Days like today, I'm really glad I don't give a cr@p or get all that worked up about ANY of these outfits. They're just freaking companies that make freaking computer products. Geez.

Indeed it is. How is it that an emotion state can become illegal? How does that emotional state necessarily demand marriage, and if it does why is it that this “institution” need reconciliation or “other name” at all?

I don’t understand how Fags and leftist can be so self-destructively dilution about the issue of marriage. When it means nothing at all what will they do? Will they still demand that we think like them that we stop regarding this abomination for what it is? Two People of the same sex cannot by natural law produce children together! This is not a law of man, this is a law of nature & definition.

Why would you “highly” recommend Bing who is owned by Microsoft?

Let me remind you that this is the very same Microsoft who has Sodomite Employee groups and was one of the first corporations in America to provide benefits Same Sex Partners.

Let me also remind you that Microsoft founder Bill Gates supports Sodomite Marriage and gave $100,000.00 for the Sodomite Marriage Election in Washington.

Sorry, but Bing is Gay.

“And just to be annoyingly predictable: if marriage is nothing but a validation of people’s love for each other, does that mean love between more than two people isn’t realize love?”

or between a person and an animal, or a person and children. Marriage is an utterly meaningless & pointless institution in theses people’s minds definition.

Certainly a repressive institution that it would seem to attempt to prohibit their love for anyone but the one to whom they are betrothed. So the question is why is it that a leftist would want to get married if marriage is simply about love?

The term Google was a misspelling of the word Googal (a number followed by a billion zeros), ironically the domain name Googal was already take. At the time of Googles founding.

I do agree though Google should keep their effin mouths shut about their liberal policies. Apple is a company I buy many products from and I know their libs, but at least they’re not in your face about it. Google is very in your face, if somebody can do search better, which is highly unlikely, I’ll start using another search engine.

You list only three options on love — man-boy etc. Your concept of love is so inhibited and repressed. You uptight Puritan!

Just check out Google itself. A man in Thailand married his dead girlfriend (he loved her to death!) Another man in South Korea (what is it with these Asians?!) officially married his beautiful blue pillow.

You are so narrow-minded! :-)
