(CNN) -- Syria's president on Sunday accused the United States of trying to destabilize Syria by providing political support to rebels fighting the regime.
Bashar al-Assad also said a months-old peace plan aimed at ending the violence has not failed, but it has yet to be implemented because countries are supporting the "terrorists" in Syria.
Al-Assad's interview with German broadcaster ARD aired as the opposition Local Coordination Committees of Syria reported another 60 people killed in the country Sunday.
It also came the same day U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the Syrian regime's days are numbered. Noting a number of recent defections from the regime, Clinton said, "the sand is running out of the hourglass."
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon added Sunday that the situation in Syria has deteriorated significantly and become more militarized. "Appalling" human rights violations continue, he said, and the killings and violence have turned even more sectarian.

This is no surprise, Obama supported the MB in Egypt, and Libya. Obama helped Iran crush a rise against the jihadist govt in place. Hillary has already said Assad needs to go, with the Brotherhood waiting to take over. The citizens of America elected people that have gotten us into bed with the very people that helped bring down the Twin Towers. Shame on us and God help us, His judgment will not be merciful.

The defections are serious, with a 30 year Brigadier General and lifelong friend of Asad now in France, estimates that as many as 40 senior brass have fled and 80,000 Sunni Muslim soldiers failed to show up for training exercises last week. Asad can blame a lot of people but Boehner is not a good bet.

In fact I think this article is pretty one-sided too. I think Syrian troops commited some atrocities against rebels and inflicted collateral damage on civilians but it is not near on that scale as reported. There are defections as well as soldiers are fearing NATO airstrikes. Real massacre is on hands of Al-Qaeda operatives who used it to blame government.

I took the time on July 4th to read the Declaration. More now then even before it is now very important to take America back.
